Level 6,(TLoZThe Legend of Zelda)[1] also stylized as Level-6,(TLoZThe Legend of Zelda | BSTLoZBS The Legend of Zelda)[2][name references needed] and known as Dragon,(TLoZThe Legend of Zelda)[1] is a recurring Dungeon in The Legend of Zelda series. Level 6 goes unnamed in Ancient Stone Tablets.

Overview

Entrance to the Dungeon

In the First Quest, the Labyrinth's entrance can be found nearby after passing through the Graveyard. This is the closest Labyrinth to the whereabouts of Ganon.

In the Second Quest, the Labyrinth's entrance is located in the middle western portion of the Graveyard, but only appears after Link plays the Recorder.

Themes and Navigation

First Quest

Like Level 4, the Labyrinth is colored yellow. It introduces both red and blue varieties of Wizzrobes. A three-headed Gleeok is featured as a mini-boss in this Labyrinth. The Labyrinth's main item is the Magic Rod, an enigmatic device that can shoot energy waves much like those used by Wizzrobes. The Magic Rod is useful for defeating Wizzrobes. The Boss that guards the Triforce Fragment in this Labyrinth is Gohma, a large spider that makes its debut in the The Legend of Zelda series here.

Second Quest

In the Second Quest, the Labyrinth is colored yellow, just as it is in the First Quest. The same type of enemies that are found in the First Quest appear here. It is the first Labyrinth in the Second Quest that is not in the shape of a letter. It is slightly smaller in the Second Quest than in the First Quest. The main item of the Labyrinth is the Stepladder. The Boss that guards the Triforce Fragment here is a blue Gohma, which takes more shots from Link's Arrows to defeat than a normal Gohma.

Entrance

The Dungeon is accessed by going to the beach where the first Heart Container was located[clarification needed] and waiting until 2:35. A tile with an Ocarina engraved on it will appear. If the hero plays the Ocarina at that time, the Dungeon will rise from the depths.

Themes and Navigation

The Sub-Boss is Digdogger. Hidden behind a hollow wall is the Magical Rod, obtained by walking directly through the wall. The Boss is Gohma.

The layout of the Dungeon forms an "A", completing the Dungeon pattern that spells out "St. GIGA".

Entrance to the Dungeon

Level 6 is located in the Desert of Mystery, where the Desert Palace is found in A Link to the Past. In order to access the desert, the Hero of Light must use the Power Glove to remove some Rocks.

Themes and Navigation

The Dungeon features several areas that can only be accessed from different entrances found outside the Dungeon itself, plus puzzles using the different floors in it. This makes the layout of Level 6 the most complex in the game. Many walls can be blown with Bombs, revealing hidden rooms filled with Treasure Chests containing Rupees. A Thief can also be found selling an Arrow upgrade for 100 Rupees. Once the Hero of Light defeats Mothula, the Dungeon's Boss, it drops a Heart Container, followed by a Stone Tablet.
