Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This is a Retiform masterboard. If you would like more details for making you can find them here.

This is a new set of dies and I decided to use these to create this week's card.

I started this card by cutting the Masterboard after applying double sided sticky tape to the back which makes it easier to attach the cut out pieces to the coloured background card. I layered this with a sheet of black card and then mounted it onto a white card blank.

To complete this card I have added some stamped and coloured Kate Crane stamped images and a sentiment.

And that's it, all done. I think I will have another play with this die set to see what else it can do.
Interestingly I found I had this waste piece too

Now that looks like another project soon for sure.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I showed you this last week but still have plenty to play with.

I went over part of it again with a slightly darker blue.
As I also have several spare fish (Kate Crane) I decided to use these on this week's card.
They are so cute and make me smile every time I look at them.

The sentiment and the colours (Distress watercolours) used on the fish are by Tim Holtz.

The net was from my stash and the card was finished with Stickles Glitter Glue.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Just A4 but I made two and there's plenty there for a few cards.

I had a stencil for this but you could easily cut the cloud design from a piece of plastic or card and use that.
I used a blending tool to apply some pale colours on the card and then used the stencil to apply more colour.
When that was dry I splattered white dots using a Posca pen.

The stamp is Kate Crane's Ballooon dog which I coloured and then added Stickles glitter glue to the eyes and the hearts.

I've added one of the dogs on the inside of the card too, always a nice surprise when you open the card.

Hope you like it and would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

WOYWW - 733 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

I have to warn you that I will be late getting round today as we are off to the Lincolnshire Show but I'll get round to you all later.

So here is my desk for today!

It hasn't seen much action since last week when I was completing the Masterboard.

The smaller box now has all the Kate Crane stamps and stencils that I've been using other than that there's not much change except that the Masterboard is finished.

If you would like to see how that came about there are details on Monday's post here:
I did tidy the exploding box but not sure you can tell! There were a few things there that I had forgotten about.

And here is one of the cards made using part of the Masterboard which has been altered with Picasa 3.

I did go to the craft show at the Doncaster Dome last Sunday and of course came home with a few new things to play with.

These are some of the more intertesting items:

Stamps, Stencils and dies.

This is a sweet little dog stamp by Kate Crane, it's a freebie from Stampers Grove and I love it.

.

An interesting collection from Inkylicious. I have a plan for these!

I thought this was a clever stamp and hopefully I'll get round to playing with some of these soon.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with today's Masterboard:

This was just the start.

Retiform design and colour nice and bright.
I don't normally work as bright as this but we'll see how it goes.

These are stamps by Kate Crane which I thought might work well to develop the background.

So started here continuing the Retiform style.

Next stage:

More Kate Crane stamps and stencils.
Inks are Distress Oxides by Tim Holtz.
I've also had a little play with this Masterboard on Picasa.

It's very simple to use and is so much fun.

As I use A3 card for my Masterboards I scan both sides.

They all end up quite different and there's loads more techniques to try with it.

I used the design above to make today's card and of course it means I still have the Masterboard to play with.
When you look at the finish on this one it's difficult to believe it's the same piece.

I've used one of the stamps to cover the card blank and then added a small shaped piece of the Masterboard.

The fish is by Kate Crane and the sentiment by AALL and Create and is called 'Sharp Tongues'.

Of course I couldn't resist adding something to the inside and it's another of Kate's fish with some tiny hearts which is a stamp by Studio Light.

Hope you like it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
