Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week and them too.

What do you suppose is going on here.
Do you think Alfie is taking any notice of her?

I think Daisy wanted the spot by the cushion and Alfie wouldn't move.

There seems to be something going on here all the time.

I would love to know what they are saying to each other.

We have had some nice weather this week so more gardening.

And here we are out in the garden.
Look at that face. She's so cheeky!
The fuchsias are still flowering but don't know for how much longer.

Hubby decided to clean out one of the filter this week and this is what we found when he lifted the lid off.
I managed to put it in a bucket until we'd finished and then put it back again and it's still there though it's so fat that I can't think how it got in there.

Pleased hubby does this job and not me but I did buy him those long gloves, very useful.

Back in the park this week......

If you've been around here recently you will know why I've been photographing fungi in the park.

These Fly Agaric usually pop up in the park around the silver birch trees.

We have quite a collection at the moment.

And here's what I've made.

It's a baby Fly Agaric which has joined my earlier project Mr hare.

And to finish......

Could easily be my two.

And when you do get back this happens....

That's dogs for you, they know just how to make you feel guiulty!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for "This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

New Koi and he's quite unusual.
And he/she is doing well.

We also cleaned out one of the filters but I forgot to photo it but to be honest it was a dirty job so probably better not to get the camera out!

Been to see my mum but she's not feeling to good at the moment as she's got a chest infection and is finding it hard to get rid of it.

Lots of gardening, trying to get the place tidy as this weather being warm and wet is making everything grow really fast.

In the park as usual walking the dogs we found this guy. Think he's waiting for dinner to arrive.

The weather has been mixed this week and this is Daisy and Alfie drying out after their walk.

This is a difficult one to see but Daisy is using Alfie as a pillow.
His head hasn't actually fallen off.
They are both going for a haircut tomorrow so they will be like new dogs the next time you see them.

This little chap had settled on the edge of the car window. They seem to like our grass at the front of the house.
Anyway we need a few dog funnies next!
It's a shame they can't catch insects but they do try.

It's just as well they can't catch squirrels though!

And finally......
I thought this might be me one day Lol!

And that's your lot. See you next week.

Have a great weekend everyone

Friday fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Last Saturday was the wedding reception for my friend's daughter and we had a lovely evening with the family.

Before that lots of gardening took place.

Look at this little beauty. If you know anything about Bonsai you may have heard of Harry Tomlinson (sadly now deceased) who was the original owner of the Greenwood Gardens near Nottingham. It was on one of our visits there that he dug this tree out of the ground for me then trimmed and planted it, an experience I will never forget. I thought it was the wrong time of the year to do it but he just looked at me and said "We do it because we can" and that's about 15 years ago so obviously he was right!

This is not a job I love but needed to get the Lily leaves out and managed not to fall in Lol!.

 All done.

The only problem with this is that the Heron has a better view of the fish. We did have a visit recently but managed to scare it off.

In a garden as big as this there are always things to cut back and stacks of stuff to get rid of.

I had to show you this little fellow that we found in the garden. They talk about mole skin being soft and I can tell you they are right, his fur was so very soft.

No idea what he was doing above ground but I guess they can't live for ever.

How ever there are others as we had a new mole hill today.

I so love this, we appear to have lots of them at the moment.

Dog funny?

I actually prefer the Schnauzers to the wine!

Just one for today.
Not really funny but certainly true at our house!

Gosh it's a dog's life here!
You can probably see they like each other!

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I think the fish have the best place at the moment, wouldn't mind joining them.

The waterlilies are looking lovely and doing really well.

The fish are doing okay too.

This is potted so I've carried on watering it and it's doing really well which surprised me as I kept it in the greenhouse throughout the winter.

Despite the dry weather the fruit is doing well too but we could do with some rain to fatten them up a bit.

The pears on the other hand are massive which has surprised me as they have never been this good before.

Looking forward to picking them.

Stan is relaxing while he has the chance as Daisy is resting but it wont be for long I'm sure.

There you are she's awake!

Look at that face she is growing so fast too.

Not a very nice post box but it has a lovely knitted hat so thought you might like to see this.

As you can imagine my time has been pretty well taken up by Daisy and sorting stuff for my mum too but I have managed some crafting which you could find earlier in the week. Been painting the resin piece that I made recently.

So I'll finish with some Smiles.

This is someone's impression of a Schnauzer.
Love him/her.

Love him/her.

So what do you think?

Was the "Tramp" actually a Schnauzer!

He certainly looks as though he had some Schnauzer in him!

Maybe he's not sure Lol!

Have a great weekend everyone and
