This 1977 Datsun 200SX is powered by a 2.0-liter L20B inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and rides on 13″ steel wheels mounted over power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. Finished in white, the car is further equipped with a left-side mirror, faux C-pillar vents, and chrome impact bumpers with black endcaps. On the inside, the bucket seats are upholstered in patterned green cloth and are joined by air conditioning, an analog clock, and a push-button AM/FM radio. Acquired by the seller in October 2023, this S10 200SX shows 40k miles and is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in white and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Details include a left-side mirror, faux C-pillar vents, and chrome window surrounds. The seller notes that the bumpers are bent and pitted, the driver’s B-pillar seal needs to be replaced, and rust is evident on the bottom of the fenders as well as on the rocker panels.
Silver-finished 13″ steel wheels feature four-spoke-style hubcaps and are mounted with 155/80 Kumho Solus TA11 tires showing 2020 date codes. The car is equipped with a front stabilizer bar, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and a rear bench are trimmed in patterned green cloth with vinyl sides and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include air conditioning, an analog clock, a locking glove compartment, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The driver’s seat bottom vinyl is torn and the headliner is sagging.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 230 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter L20B inline-four was factory rated at 97 horsepower and 102 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. Rust is noted on the exhaust system.
