This 1986 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 cabriolet shows 26k miles, and it is finished in Nero over beige leather. Work in July 2024 totaling approximately $19k included resealing the 3.2-liter F105C V8 and replacing the belts, clutch, water pump, fuel accumulator, alternator, thermostat, engine mounts, and transaxle and oil pan gaskets. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a soft top, a gated shifter, a Sony cassette stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. This Mondial 3.2 cabriolet is now offered in New York by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a soft top boot, tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Nero and features a soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, side air intakes, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. An aftermarket antenna has been added. Finish imperfections are evident on the body.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels show paint chips and are mounted with Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs.
The four-place cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door trim. Interior features include a gated shifter, a Sony cassette stereo, and power windows. The air conditioning system was converted to R134a refrigerant in July 2024. The passenger-side vanity mirror is distorted.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 26k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.
The transverse 3.2-liter F105C V8 features four valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. It was removed from the car and resealed in July 2024 by Iannelli Autocars in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Additional work included replacing the following components:
- Timing belt and accessory belts
- Belt tensioners and pulleys
- Fuel accumulator
- Water pump
- Oil pan gasket
- Alternator
- Thermostat
- Distributor cap and rotor
- Engine mounts
- Battery cables
- Air filter

- Coolant hoses
- Spark plugs and ignition wires
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Service in July 2024 included replacing the clutch, slave cylinder, shift rod bushing, shift shaft seals, and transaxle pan gasket.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
