Gentleman's Gentlemen and Taskmaster

Finished off two more figures last weekend really. But I took some pics mid week and spotted a few mistakes that needed correcting before re-taking the pics. Works really ramped up and I can feel the start of a cough/cold coming so hobby time has been sparse this week.

Anyway first up is Mr.Perring a gentleman's gentlemen. Limited Edition figure you only got by buying a special bundle deal. Luckily for me a good friend Doctor Warlock (Drew Wood) had two and sent me one!!

Second figure done is Wargame Foundry's John Bull again another oop/Limited Edition figure I think. Not painted up typically in his usual Union Jack waistcoat. He'll be joining my Criminals as taskmaster (Vice President) Not received the rules still yet so we'll see what happens with criminal gangs.

Colonel Moran

Finished off Foundry's version of Colonel Moran. Its a really nice dynamic sculpt. I tried to give his jacket a scruffy stained appearance as he doesn't really come across to me as the gentlemanly type. I really quite like the rifle which I presume is supposed to be his air rifle.

Professor Moriarty

Another figure that's been on the table for a while part finished. Professor Moriarty by Wargame Foundry. At the moment its limited edition and no longer available. But was on sale for a while? No idea where its gone but hey ho he may reappear. I picked him up with Colonel Moran and John Bull from an ebay auction for quite a reasonable price really. This was way back in February but then I got distracted with the Requiem kickstarter which also has versions of Moriarty and Moran in..... They will pass for normal gents anyway so will get used I'm sure :D

Wargames Foundry Colonel Moran and the EotD Circ Du Noir Ape Man are about 50% finished. I then have two more to finish before I'll let myself start painting on the Requiem miniatures.

Thanks to Clint estimating its going to me around 4 months to paint all the Requiem figures basing it on 5 per week Its going to be my personal painting challenge for 2013/2014 as it will be interesting to see how many I do actually get done lol. I shall keep a tally and start the clock when I get the first figures started. most likely beginning of December.

The Avengers John Steed mkII

Its took me far to long to get this guy finished. I think what killed the interest was find trying to find the most suitable figure to represent Purdy.

Heres my new John steed anyhow I really like this pose very 'Steed' the figure is from Wargames Foundry 2000AD range Max Normal. Given a shave to remove the Tache and simple repainted in Steed attire. He's a bit big but as a larger than life character and most likely the head of any cast I'll be fielding thats fine with me!

Big Whinge Blogger has been really annoying this week everything is updating on blog rolls really slowly often when posting something new it has only been showing the previous post for a few days before then updating.............

Incase you missed anything here is some links to whats been posted up this week. Work continues cleaning up the requiem stuff. I need to take some pics so i'll post them up on Wednesday.

Empire of the Dead Lady N'ver do Well

Finishing off some bits that have lingered on the paint table for to long this week. The fifth and final member of Wargames Foundry's N'ver Do Well set, a lady (well maybe) armed with a pistol. Again for no specific faction more of an extra as required. Most likely will be used for a criminal gang when the rules come out for them. I found it quite hard to choose colours for a Victorian Lady there aren't many colour examples that haven't been modernised in some way which then makes me doubt the authenticity of it.

Work is afoot on a few more figures I have a load of soldiers undercoated and waiting dry brushing.
A random agent for 7TV and a Zombie hunting duo are all near completion just need a few highlights here and there and they'll be done hopefully by the weekend.

The rest of the pack shown previously.

Gunny Survivor and Daughter

Besides the Birthday and the inconvenince of colds and work getting in the way. I've been trying to get those odds and sods that have been WIP for a while.

We have 3 miniatures finished this week. My retired Gunnery Sergeant (Foundrys B team Haniibal) armed with his trusty M14 rifle. I had ago at sculpting some ammo pouches out of miliput which turned out ok. I must get some greenstuff to have a play with.

We have our Gunny's Daughter who is 'Billy A' from Hasslefree miniatures. I'm a little bit miffed how the face turned out as she was tiny to paint.

Last of all we have another Copplestone Bad guy in suit with SMG. Really like the pose on this one and it kinda reminds me of Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction though I decided not to paint him that way.

Kid Survivor, Agent and a Bad guy

A bit mixed this week been painting bits from a few differnt sets as to what takes my fancy.

I've painted up a Kid Survivor whom I've named as Stanley for some weird. I first saw him over at Chez Gnotta' blog on his WIP bench and at Vampifan's blog in his latest ATZ report. He is a Horrorclix figure.

I thought I gotta have that kid catapults are cool. A quick browse on ebay and he arrived 3 days later .
They come as a pair mounted on the same base his sister is still on my bench WIP. I have just realised I have no picture of the rear. But you can see it on the photos below of my other two figures painted.

The other two figures are 'Face' from the Foundrys B team and a Bad Guy in suit from Copplestone castings Future Wars line. Face I've painted as long rage support for my agents posted previously as he his armed with a nice rifle. The Bad guy in suit i'm not decided on his use yet. It maybe that he will represent myself as his hair is pretty spot on. I'm kinda in the process of thinking up names and background so I won't reveal more until i'm sure thats how I want to go.

Anyway enjoy the pics any tips let me know

Pics of Chicks

Ha Ha got your attention. Finally based and varnished some of my miniatures.  All Hasslefree the Lady Soldiers set by Mantic I have repainted the body armour and added some extra highlights I think they are much nicer.

The Bases are milliput smoothed out then textured with a hard nylon paint brush you would get out of a kids paint set.

Now Hasslefree Dione I wasn't happy with the hair or the body suit so its been repainted and I think she looks alot smoother than from when I previous posted.

Comparison Pictures for those who asked about the Dixon miniatures line. From Left to Right
Copplestone, Dixon, Hasslefree, Dixon and Wargames Foundry.

I stuck to  putting in average sized people and tried to pick those with a similar pose. They are all based the same apart from the Hasslefree Lady Soldier who is on a standard slotta base and is about 1mm taller.
