Ik had een super leuke verjaardag afgelopen zaterdag, de kinderen en kleinkinderen waren op bezoek geweest en ik had een grote pan pompoensoep gemaakt waar ze allemaal dol op zijn. Ze hadden me goed verwend met een aantal boeken die op mijn wenslijstje stonden. Het boek aan de linkerkant is de opvolger van het boek dat ik vorig jaar gedurende de advent dagen las: The Christmas Murder Game van Alexandra Benedict.

Zelf zag ik deze pot met de tekst "A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear" afgelopen vrijdag in de kringloopwinkel staan en die moest ik gewoon kopen. Ik krijg steeds een glimlach als ik hem nu hier zie staan op de vensterbank.

Naast mijn verjaardagssokken (nog geen foto van gemaakt) ben ik ook begonnen aan de kerst sokken voor de kleindochters. Het eerste paar wordt gebreid met Flotte Socke Melody in de kleur 3024.
