Fun Times!

This is The Iris Quilt.
A new pattern by Erica of Kitchen Table Quilting.
This is such a fun pattern! It is jelly roll, fat quarter, or even scrap friendly!
It comes in 3 sizes. I had the pleasure of testing the lap size which used 39 of the 40 strips in my jelly roll.  I purchased the teal and purple bits.

I tried taking photos outside, inside and close up and the fabrics I used are just not real photogenic! :o
My jelly roll was all dots!~ did you know I love dots? LOL
I do!!
Hurry over to Erica's SHOP and get the pattern while it is on sale. I have the quilt in my previous post on the longarm now, but I am on the hunt for backing for this one!

Until next time~

Time!!!

It seems the faster I go, the more behind I get!
Well, maybe not behind, but I do let things slide and this blog certainly fits that description!
I never intended to be gone for three weeks! Where did the time go?
Well, I have been doing so much secret sewing, thats part of it, I just can't show you...yet. Hopefully there will be a few reveals next week.

In the meantime, I do have one for you today. :-)
Jenna of Jenna Leudecke Designs has a new pattern out that I was privileged to test.
This is her second quilt pattern and it is so versatile!
You will love it~
Stella Star Quilt pattern.

This is my version...

The pattern comes with two sizes of star, and five different sizes of quilt!
I chose the one large star lap quilt and had fun playing with 5 fabrics. There is a little bit of paper piecing in the pattern~ those sharp star points, but if you have never paper pieced you will find her directions really easy to follow.
Go get your pattern now while it is on sale and check out all the different versions you can make. ;-)

I'll be back sooner next time!
Until then,
Happy Stitchin'!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
