New Project and a Question~

Hi!

Today I want to share with you my newest Pineapple Fabrics project.

I used a Bella Pineapple Pack and chose 'Farm to Table' by Ann Kelle.

The free pattern I chose was 'Set Your Table~ Placemats & Table Runner'.

I thought the fabric was so cute for this project and would make a perfect picnic set. I wasn't wrong!! ;-)

The extra strips from the pack were used to make the back of the table runner.

I did have to be a little careful as a couple of the fabrics were directional. :o
The placemats had this adorable cherry fabric included for the back.
All the fruit and vegetables have the cutest faces! The garlic is wearing glasses! :-)

Have you ever used this product?  I had not, but found it really easy to use with my Teflon press sheet. It adhered to the fabric great!

The pattern said quilting the table runner and placemats was optional, so my question for you is~ would you add some quilting?  I am kinda on the fence. I love the texture quilting gives to things, but with the busy fabrics, would quilting even show?  I would love to know your thoughts. :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time~

Happy stitchin'!

Over A Month!!

Hello!

I cannot believe it has been over a month since I last checked in! BUT~ we took a nearly 4 week trip and to say wifi was scarce would be an understatement. One day I had to go to McDonald's just so I could check email!! :o

Can you guess where we were?

Utah!

We visited most of the National Parks and had a great time! Unfortunately, we both caught colds and had to skip a little touring. But it was all good. We made it home and had time to fully recover before hubby was back to work and I was back behind my machines. :-)

This weekend, I plan to show you what this~

..lovely grouping of fabrics from Pineapple Fabrics turned into... something fun!!

Until then~

Happy stitchin'!!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
