Made for talking to strangers.
HearMe is a place to talk to one stranger at a time, by text or by voice, without a name, a camera or a sign-up. It is built to be fast, honest and private.
Every call is private
A 1:1 call is between the two of you. Nobody can join it, list it or listen to it, free or premium.
No video, ever
The site never asks for a camera. Your voice and your words are all anyone gets.
No sign-up, no limit
A nickname is the whole form. Guests chat and call as much as they like; an account only adds friends and history.
Rooms
When the queue is quiet there is still a room to enter. Nothing is faked to look busy.
How it pays for itself
Ads, when they arrive, and a premium tier that buys filters, priority in matching and a badge. Nothing that lets you talk is ever paid, and login is never behind a paywall.
How moderation works
Every message in a text chat, a direct message or a room passes a filter before it is sent. It blocks threats, hate, encouragement of self-harm and sexual content involving children everywhere, and contact details and links in text chats and rooms. Anyone can report a chat, a call or a profile. Reports go to our moderators, who can ban an account and its email or Google sign-in. Voice calls are not recorded: a report made during a call on the website sends only the last 60 seconds of the other person's audio, and that clip is deleted within 7 days, unless a moderator confirms the report as child safety or under 18; then it is kept as evidence for one year.
Who runs HearMe
HearMe is an independent site, online since September 2026. Our servers are in India. We don't sell your data; the privacy policy lists what we collect and how long we keep it.
Support: support@hearme.chat
Not the HearMe listening app
HearMe.chat has no connection to the HearMe peer-listening app. Nobody here is a trained listener; this is anonymous chat with strangers by voice or text, and it is not a substitute for support or therapy.
