I Brake for Dogwood Blossoms & Video Tutorials

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a card I created for I Brake For Stamps, using the Beautiful "Dogwood Blossoms" Stamp. LOVE this beauty! Super easy to color, and I really enjoyed using the blues and yellows here.

So my card was created for SCS Color challenge yesterday! I tried to get the blues as close as possible, so I did have to mix 3 colors to do so...hehehehee I do love the way they turned out!

I stamp the Beautiful Dogwood Blossoms stamp in memento black ink, and then colored them up using copic markers BG09,BG72,B18 , those were used for the blues on the flowers. Next I used Y08, & YR31 for the centers. I then added some stickles to give some glitz!
The layers I cut a 12 x 6 black card stock, then scored at 6" to create my 6 x 6 card.
Next I cut another black at 5 3/4" x 5 3/4". then yellow Echo park dp at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". set aside to sew later. Next  black layer was cut at 5" x 5" and then the blue design paper at 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", set this aside to sew later. Last layer was cut at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" , then the yellow dp was cut at 3 1/4" x 3 1/4", now I take and sew each panel.
Embellishments- I added some white gel dots, Yellow ribbon, big pearl, and some green brads to complete my card for today.

I love that all the flowers are blooming right now, its so nice to see, after what seemed to be a long winter. I Brake for stamps carries so many beautiful flower stamps, and even some NEW Releases, that can be found HERE!~ All Flowers can be found HERE!

I Brake for Tutorials and Cherry Blossom w/Dreams

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with my Cherry Blossom with Dream card and a Video Tutorial showing how I created this 3-D glass look using this Beautiful Stamp from I Brake For Stamps

OK I LOVE IBFS flowers! There are sooo many Beautiful ones to choose from, and there are also some NEW ones to see HERE! I absolutely LOVE them all! And even the darling Strawberry! so Sweet!!!

Stamped my image in a Peeled Paint Green, and then cut that image out using a die cut. Next I stamped my image in black, and airbrushed it, and fussy cut the flowers out. In my video I show how this is all done.

For my card base it is a 6" x 6" card. I then used some scraps of HC design paper. I keep a stack of all my design paper scraps on the floor by me, and try to pull from those as much as possible. for the card stock scraps I put those back in their tray. I did add sewing to the 2 panels on my card for today. I wanted you to be able to see the image and design paper without covering either up. So my bow is by the image, and I added a few pearls to the card layers.

I Brake For Glass Flowers (Video Tutorial)

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all!

Cheryl here today with my 1st post for I Brake For Stamps! I am SUPER EXCITED to be a part of the I Brake For Stamps Design Team, and to be able to design with their Wonderful assortment of stamps! LOVE that there are so many to choose from! So for today I wanted to share my cards using the Beautiful "Flowers" Stamp & Video Tutorial showing how I made them :)
The weather here in Utah has been ugly lately, as all the snow is melted and everything looks dead...hehehehe So I can't wait for springtime, and these flowers are a perfect reminder of how beautiful it will be when spring gets here :)

In my video I show how to make the flowers 3-D and look like glass. I love that they don't smash down, and they hold their shape. I did used copics YG13, and YG95 for the greenery, and for the flower buds I used BV00 , and BV4. Now for the top flowers I used distress ink in dusty Concord,as shown in the video and I also used NE-OPAQUE paint in yellow for the centers. The embossing powder I used is clear, and I also used the heat gun. I absolutely am addicted to making these flowers. Hope you enjoy my video tutorial!

Embellishments : Ribbon, half backed pearls, Vintage pearls, sewing, white gel pen for dots, and Spellbinders for the frames. To dust I did use dusters by judikins.

Here is another card I made using the Flowers from my tutorial I used the same colors and technique for the flowers on this card. The embellishments I used on this are some Ribbon, Sewing, white gel dots, and die cut pieces. Design paper is old its from K & Company. But it sure is bright and pretty! hehehehe
I Brake For Stamps carries sooo Many BEAUTIFUL Flower Stamps, and you can find them HERE in the store!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! thank you for looking and have a lovely week!
