Autumn Treasures

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today.

Today I am using some amazing products from Blank Page Muse and I Brake for Stamps.

I Brake for Stamps:  Pretty Pumpkin
Blank Page Muse Stamps:  Guardian of Autumn
Blank Page Muse Stencil:  Pebbled Path

Score a 5" x 6" card 1/2" around the front panel.
Use gray ink with the Pebbled Path stencil.

Cut a 3" x 10" panel and score in half for the front of the card.
Use the same Pebbled Path stencil on the front panel.

On the flap, add a torn strip of paper across the bottom.
Using a mask, stamp the phrase on white cardstock and mat with orange cardstock.

Add a 3" x 5" panel within the scored lines on the inside of the card.
Create an envelope and slip a gift card inside.
Stamp a phrase on the envelope and adhere to the card base.

Stamp the image and color with Copic Markers, then fussy cut.

Add the image to an oval and adhere to the card front.

Thanks for stopping by.

Winter Birthday Card

Hi its Sue to show you a winter birthday card from a Christmas stencil.

I thought it would fun to (as I mentioned above) use a Christmas stencil for a winter card.
On the close view you can see how everything lines up beautifully, with this layering stencil set.

Ways of Using a Stencil

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. Today's project is about how to extend the use of stencils. I also created a DIY stencil which might interest you. Best of all, while my craft supplies are out, I was able to create a bonus card.

I am using several Blank Page Muse products on this card:
I used the stencil as follows:
  1. I applied Deco Transfer Gel over the stencil for foiling.
  2. I pounced Versamark ink over the stencil for embossing.
  3. I traced the open areas of the stencil so I can color it with glitter and metallic pens.
  4. I traced the open areas of the stencil and doodled some diagonal lines on it.
  5. I used the stencil for embossing to add an impression on the gold vellum.
Foiling, Heat Embossing, Coloring, Doodling using a Stencil

For the DIY stencil, I stamped extra two flowers on scrap cardstock. I fussy cut the flower on one of the stamped images, and I fussy cut the flower center saving this piece and both negative cuts. I used these pieces so I can blend the ink to the stamped flowers giving it a more softer look compared to flowers colored with markers.

Since I have a left over piece of the stenciled panel (which I did not want to put to waste), I cut this left over piece into several pieces to create a frame for another card.

I hope you like today's card. If you have another way of using a stencil, please make a comment so I can also try it out. Please visit my blog, Maria Giselle's Creative Cuts, for card details.

New Dad Baby Card!

Hi Stamping Fans!

Today I am sharing a "personalized card" I made for my daughter to give her partner as a "New Dad" for his birthday!
I've used stamps and a stencil from the Blank Page Muse & I Brake For Stamps Stores!

The Sentiment and Alphabet Stamps available in store are just perfect for adding to a personal card.
I added "Happy Birthday" and "DAD" letters to a  card base along with a photo printed on glossy paper along with a few other embellishments.

I used "handprint" stickers but you could also use the handprint stamp available in store - link below!
You can have a lot of fun making personalized cards - you could even use pics of your pets!

And don't forget to stencil the envelope to have a matching "set"!

Fall Thank You Card

Greetings!  Today I am excited to share this stenciled fall greeting card I created with some of my favorite Blank Page Muse supplies! I love my distress Inks and own just about every color!  So I was super excited to see Blank Page Muse is now carrying the distress ink and some of the colors that I am missing!

To recreate this card your will need:

BPM Pumpkin Trio Stencil

BPM Fall Rubber Stamp Sheet Set by Pam Bray Designs

BPM  Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Rustic Wilderness, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire

Gold gems or brads, copper ink, black archival ink, watercolor paper, painter's tape

Start by trimming your watercolor paper 1/2 smaller than your card base. Secure your watercolor paper to your work space with painter's tape.

Position your BPM Pumpkin Trio Stencil onto your paper.

Using your Wild Honey Distress Ink, shade in your pumpkin.

Add dimension by layering on the Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.

After shading your leaves with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink, move stencil.

Shade the large pumpkin around the previous image with Crackling Campfire Distress ink so that it looks behind first pumpkin.

Shade the small pumpkin on top of first pumpkin as shown.

Reposition stencil and shade the final pumpkin as shown.

It's Never Just Black or White!

 HI IBFS Fans!

Today I'm sharing a mixed media art journal page combining products from IBFS and BPM!

To create my journal page background I used a stencil designed by DeadSeaToons and available at the BPM Store along with ink sprays, charcoal pencil & posca pens.

The main focal image of my page is a stamp available at the IBFS Store which I stamped onto an old book page covered with gesso.

I Brake for Turtles!

Hello Stampers! I do hope that you are well.

I have a clean and simple card design to share with you today.  The world may be more complicated now, but people are still having birthdays and I have several cards to send out in the next week or so.  I think this one will work for men, as well as women.

To create this card, I sponged light blue ink on the left of my card front, then put a wave stencil over this and sponged darker blue inks over the stencil.  I stamped, colored and cut out my sea turtle and popped him up on the panel.  The sentiment was stamped underneath.

This really didn’t take long at all, and I am quite happy with how it turned out!

These stamps are part of I Brake for Stamp’s By the Sea Rubber Sheet. It is an awesome set!

Thank you for visiting today!

I Brake for Sympathy

Hello stampers!  I am sharing a pretty Sympathy card today.  Often, I find a clean and simple look works well for these.

I simply stenciled over the left side of my card panel and then stamped the silhouette over top.  I then coordinated the inside of the card by just using a lighter touch over my stencil, and stamping my favorite Sympathy sentiment.

These stamps can be purchased in the I Brake for Stamps store. The foxglove image is part of a new stamp set in the store, available as Unmounted rubber (with an attractive price), or it is also available separately.

Mostly Florals unmounted stamp sheet
Quarter Sheet Dahlia (outside sentiment)

Thanks for your visit today!  For those of you in the US, I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
