Over the fence roses ~ Floral Friday Fotos

We had a delightful elderly neighbour, who always encouraged me to pick any of her flowers (and lemons) I wished.  Some lovely conversations were had, over the fence, alongside her roses.

As it does, age caught up with our lovely neighbour and she passed on.  Her house was sold, but I'm fortunate in that the tradition of me doing a little bit of over-the-fence pruning is still ok.

I gathered these pretties just recently, and their intoxicating perfume filled our house for a week.

Satin Bower Baby's Bathtime ~ Wild Bird Wednesday

Joining in with Stewart's Wild Bird Wednesday once again, after a long absence.

I'm thrilled to add my photos of a juvenile Satin Bower Bird having a bit of bathtime fun right outside our windows.

We love having the Bower Birds in our garden.  Their arrival on the verandah is never quiet - they land with a thump and have taken over a certain bowl that I keep full of water.

We were extra delighted this year as they chose to breed in our garden and so we had the fun of watching their young develop.  I was lucky enough to get some quick shots of this little one, out on its own and obviously doing a good job of getting cleaned up.

I feel a most stunning feature of theses birds are their piercing blue eyes.  Here's a shot I took years ago.

 Thank you for your visit.

Boomerang Bags

Probably the last thing we want to think about is grocery shopping at this time, but I was quite taken by this idea at one of the shops in town recently:

so I chose one....

... think I'll remember!  Cheers now :D)

A daisy kind of day

Enjoy!

Sometimes I've chosen the photos but can't decide on the words for posts, and that stops me posting.

So, my solution is to go with the concept of... no words needed...
I've turned off the Comments too - if I can have a break from having to think of words, you can too ;D)

Cheers now and thank you kindly for your visit xx

Sharing Happy Moments

Isn't it lovely to be able to share a good dose of  joy!

One of our sweet granddaughters, N, has been busy creating smiles of joy on the faces of all who know her and we (MD and I) proudly share some photos with her kind permission.

Recently N graduated from Year 12 and here she is looking so very elegant and graceful:

💕 One of the things that impressed me on that special day was that, before she left home for her busy schedule of the Formal proceedings, N made a point of including a young girl who lives in the neighbourhood, in some of her photos.  The young girl was so shy, but absolutely thrilled to have her photo taken beside N.
We've all had those shy moments at some point in our lives haven't we... kindness always begets kindness 💕

Those who have been following my blog, may recall I posted over two years ago of N's generosity in donating a length of her hair to be used in the making of real-hair wigs for women with cancer.
Here's N with her donation back then:

Now, with a lot of hair-growing since,  N decided to add some colour to her life in this most gorgeous way.  Again, her joyous attitude to life is infectious!

We love it Dear N...

enjoy your beautiful long blue hair... can imagine it swirling around  :D)

~ Cheerio for now, thank you for taking the time to read this post.
May you experience unexpected kindnesses in your life ~
