It was too chilly to be outside, so I took photos through a window, and our resident Bronzewing Pigeon was posing beautifully....

... then, I saw this scenario unfold (one of the neighbourhood cats)
I quickly snapped the photo, then banged on the window, but the pigeon was frozen with fright.
Fortunately, MD made even more noise and pigeon flew off to safety.
If not for the chilly winter weather, we wouldn't have noticed.
