The Archies is a fictional American Rock Band that features in media produced by, and related to Archie Comics.  They are best remembered for their appearance in the animated TV series The Archie Show in the context of the series, the band was founded by Archie Andrews (Guitar, Vocals), Reggle Mantle (Bass), Jughead Jones (Drums), Betty Cooper (Percussion, Vocals), Veronica Lodge (Keyboards, Vocals). The music featured in the series was recorded by session musicians, including Ron Dante on Lead Vocals, and Toni Wine on Duet and Backing Vocals.  The recordings were released as a series of singles and albums that achieved worldwide chart success.  Their most successful song "Sugar, Sugar", Became one of the biggest hits of the Bubblegum Pop Genre during 1968 to 1973.

The Five Americans was an American Rock Band from Durant, Oklahoma, formed in 1965 by Mike Rabon (Vocals, Guitar), John Durrill (Keyboards), Norman Ezell (Guitar, Vocals), Jim Grant (Bass), and Jimmy Wright (Drums), original name called The Mutineers in 1962, had played music of Duane Eddy and Bo Diddley began performing within the campus, and recorded their debut single "Jackin' Around", in Dallas, Texas, which extensive airplay in their college.  The British Invasion influenced, include The Beatles.  Shortly thereafter, the band changed the band name to The Five Americans.  Their most famous for their song, "Western Union", which reached No. 5 in the U.S. Billboard Chart.
