Oscar Peterson was a Canadian Jazz Pianist and Composer.  He was called the "Maharaja of the Keyboard" by Duke Ellington, but simply "O.P." by his friends.  He released over 200 recordings, won eight Grammy Awards, and received numerous other awards and honours.  He is considered one of the greatest Jazz Pianists, and played thousands of concerts worldwide in a career lasting more than 60 years.

Anne Briggs is an English Folk Singer from Toton, Beeston, Nottinghamshire.  She never aspired to commercial success or to achieve widespread public acknowledgment of her music.  However, she was an influential figure in the British Folk Revival, being a source of songs and musical inspiration for others such as Bert Jansch, Jimmy Page, The Watersons, June Tabor, Sandy Denny, Richard Thompson, and Maddy Prior.
