Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 9)

In de kerstperiode worden er ook vaak koekjes of cupcakes gemaakt, dus wat is er lekker dan een warme chocolade melk erbij. En deze is wel erg leuk gemaakt met een hartje erin. Dus de liefde spat eraf.

During Christmas time one is always baking cookies and cupcakes, so what is nice to drink with it? A cup of hot chocolate. And this one is fancy, one with a heart, so made with a lot of love.

Nog eentje - another one

En dan hier nog eentje met dezelfde sketch, hier heb ik een soort van belly band gemaakt en voorop dan een kopje geplaatst, binnenin heb ik ook nog een kopje en spatjes gestempeld. 

 And here another slimline card with the same sketch, this time I used the cup on a belly band, inside I stamped the cup and some dots too.

Koffie envelop - Latte envelop

Deze leuke sketch van Prulleke gebruikte ik om er een slimline kaart mee te maken waar ik bv nog een voucher in kan stoppen. Verder kan je als je wilt er echt veel tekst in kwijt. Ik hou van deze leuke set met de koffie kopjes. Ik heb niet de moeite genomen om te zoeken hoe dsp op de flap zou passen, ik heb gewoon wat gestempeld. De kop voorop is met Dimensionals verhoogd zodat het een soort van sluiting is. Binnenin heb ik dan nog een kopje gestempeld.

This sketch is so cute and easy to use for a slimline envelop where you can put in a voucher. I used the Latte love set and the cup on the front is put higher with Dimensionals so it is a kind of seal for the envelop card. For the flap I did not use dsp but stamped and inside I stamped the other cup.

Koffie - coffee

Iemand zin in koffie? Ook al is het warm, dan nog is een bakje koffie heel verkwikkend. En ik heb ook hier weer de leuke funfold gebruikt. Deze keer dus gewerkt met het DSP van Latte love, zo zie je maar dat ook met ander DSP je een heel leuke kaart kunt maken.

Someone who wants coffee? I love it even when it is hot. I used the same funfold again. This time I worked with the DSP from latte love. So just give it a try with different paper.

Een toost op jou - a cheer for you

Onlangs zag ik bij Thecreativeteacup een heel leuke kaart die zij ging casen. Ik dacht ik doe gelijk mee tijdens haar live sessie. Zij ging aan de slag met DSP om de stralen te maken, ik heb ze met een strook papier en blending brushes gedaan, dus gewoon de inkt aanbrengen in stralen. Ik had de kopjes op aquarel papier ingekleurd en heb ze er heel leuk bovenop gezeten het centrum. En bij dit alles dacht ik aan mijn vriendin in Canada, zij houdt ook zo van deze set. Dus ik heb hier heel vrij het theme thinking of you gebruikt. En ik weet het de tekst is misschien niet echt passend, maar waarom ook niet, je kan ook eens toosten met een bakje koffie of chocolade melk toch?

 Recently I saw a nice live of Thecreativeteacup, she cased a card and I thought I go with it. She did the rays of sun with dsp, I took a piece of paper and made the rays with a blending brush. And in the center I put some cups which I colored with aquarel. I must say I was thinking of my friend Connie in Canada when I made it as she loves the set. So it is a different way of thinking of someone which is the theme for today. And the text is a toast on you, I know you normally would do it with alcohol, but why not with hot cocao or coffee?

Potjes hyacinten - Pots with hyacinths.

Ik ben tegenwoordig in de stemming voor het kleuren met potloden. Zo kleurde ik deze hyacinten en gebruikt daar ook de opzet van een tafelkleedje met drie potjes voor. De potjes zijn koffiemokjes zonder oortjes. Ik heb de koffie een stukje weggesneden en dan in die uitsnede heb ik de hyacint bolletjes gestopt. Ik ben heel tevreden met deze uitwerking. Geeft mij echt een lentegevoel. De tekst komt uit de nieuwe Nederlandse set Lichtpuntjes en liefde.

 I am really in the mood of coloring with pencils. So I colored the hyacinths and used some DSP as tablecloth and three pots on it, those are coffeemugs but I cut off the ears. And the coffee is taken away a bit so I could slide in the bulbs. I am really pleased how they turned out. It gives me a spring feeling.

Koffie - coffee

Een tijdje terug volgde ik de live sessie van Yvonne Spikmans, thecreativeteacup en zij ging ook aan de slag met de latte love set. Ik maakte tijdens die sessie ook een kaartje, een iets eenvoudigere versie, en ondertussen is deze reeds bij mijn pennenvriendin in Canada. Ik vind deze set echt leuk voor koffieliefhebbers.

 A while ago I followed a session of thecreativeteacup, she was working with the Latte love set and I adore it too. I made a card during that session too. Meanwhile the card already arrived at my friends place in Canada. Really a good set for coffee lovers.

Prulleke fans swap - triangular fold

Ik heb weer eens deelgenomen aan een swap, deze keer moesten wij een kaartje maken met een funfold, ik maakte weer eens mijn speciale fold, geen idee hoe die juist heet. Ik heb hem even triangular fold genoemd omdat hij twee driehoeken vouwt. Hij blijft op zich staan, kan perfect verstuurd worden en wordt gemaakt uit een rechthoekig stuk cardstock. Zo leuk om te maken en verrassend effect voor de ontvanger. Ik mijn lievelingssets van het moment gebruikt. Latte love, Lovely and sweet en Notes of nature.

I took part of a swap this month and we had to make a funfold card. I made again my special fold, I am not sure how it is called so I call it triangular fold as it shows like two triangular pieces but it is made out of one rectangular folded in a special way. I love it as it can stand on its own and has a special effect for the receiver. And I used my favorite sets for the moment Lovely and sweet, Notes of nature and Latte love.

Sketch challenge April (Prulleke)

Woensdag hadden we de sketch challenge van Leonie (Prulleke). Ik ben nog steeds geen held in het bedenken van kaarten of projecten aan de hand van een sketch, maar ik heb mijn best gedaan. Ik kantelde de sketch en zag er dan een tafelkleed met kopjes in. Dus mijn DSP Latte love werd erbij gehaald en zo ontstond deze kaart. Vermits de kopjes qua kleur te dicht bij het tafelkleedje lagen, heb ik ze met potloden even een andere tint gegeven.

Wednesday we had the challenge of Leonie (Prulleke). Still not really my thing working with a sketch but I did my best. I turned the sketch and saw it as a table with a tablecloth and some cups on it. So I took my latte love DSP and cut some cups. As the cups were a bit the same color as the tablecloth, I changed them with my pencils.
 

Kopje koffie? Cup of coffee

En hoe kan het ook anders, een mini doosje met kopjes koffie erop moest ook kunnen toch. Ik maakte zes mini kaartjes, zodat ik het doosje kan tonen met vijf kaartjes en het ene kaartje ook nog afzonderlijk op tafel kan leggen op 23 maart. Hopelijk een mooie opkomst zodat we weer horen wat iedereen van de producten en de creaties vindt.

And of course I made a mini box with cup of coffee. I made six mini cards, five to be put into a mini box and one to be also on the craft table on 23th of March. I hope a lot of people come to see the products and the creations.

Koffie ? - Coffee?

Iemand zin in koffie? De online only bundle Latte Love (vanaf morgen voor jullie beschikbaar) heb ik gebruikt voor deze twee kaartjes. Het is nog even goed uitzoeken wat ik er allemaal mee kan. Ik vond het wel iets hebben, en het is weer eens iets anders. Ik heb vellum gebruikt voor de koffiepot en deze achteraan wat ingekleurd met potloden. Binnenin heb ik nog wat extra koffieboontjes gestempeld.

 Does someone want some coffee? The online only bundle Latte love is used for these two cards. A cute set which is totally different as I had in my collection, but I still need to figure out what to make with it. For this one I used vellum for the coffee pot and colored it with pencils on the back. Inside the card I stamped some coffee beans too.

Kleurenkaartenteam : Celeste en donkerpaars - Color card challenge: Celeste and dark purple

Wow geen eenvoudige uitdaging hoor deze kleuren. Maar opeens dacht ik eraan dat ik de koffiekopjes had van Latte Love de nieuwe online producten die weldra beschikbaar komen voor iedereen. Als ik die kopjes nu eens in de twee tinten zou maken en dan wat randjes en wat spetters van dezelfde kleur. Het donkere paars in de rand komt niet echt uit, maar in het echt wel zichtbaar, net zoals feit dat koppen zelfs een beetje glimmer hebben.

Again a difficult color challenge. This time with celeste and dark purple. But I had the latte love already so I could make some cups in those colors. I used the dark purple as cardstock too, but that is on the picture not that visible. I used some background stamping in the colors too. I love how they turned out.
