Daddy's Little Helper

Andrew was changing a light bulb in our kitchen last night and Keegan had to be "Daddy's Little Helper". It was too cute not to take a picture of! He was so proud of himself for climbing up on that ladder and thought he was such a big boy!! :)

Halloween

I've been wanting to get these pictures up but couldn't find the camera...turns out Andrew put it away where it belongs. Who would have ever looked there?? :)

The day started out with Andrew running a 5K in record time (for him) but he thinks the course may have been short as it was put on by the local high school. It was the first annual 5K put on by this high school so who knows... :) During the race I watched the kids deliberate about how to hand out trophies--I wonder why they didn't decide this before they said,"Go!". :)

(Our day actually started with us cleaning the church and Keegan running around terrorizing the other families that were there helping us but that's besides the point. :) )

Keegan was cheering for his Daddy in his stroller...he enjoyed watching all the runners but it was a very cold morning! We spent a lot of the race in the car with the heater on!! :)

And of course the day ended with a little trick or treating. This little lion was very hard to get to sit still so he could have his picture taken. And contrary to my dear mother's comments, yes he is a male lion. Male lions have manes, female lions do not. FYI, Mom. :)

Keegan loved me carrying him door to door (he was paralyzed at the site of other trick or treaters and refused to walk). And then when we went up and down our short street (6-7 houses that were actually participating in trick or treating), Keegan enjoyed running around our cul-de-sac watching all the other kids. It was a fun night and I'm sure it will be even more fun next year when Keegan will actually do some knocking! :)
