Geumcheon Bridge in the Changdeokgung Palace of Seoul (South Korea)

Changdeokgung is an outstanding example of East Asian palace architecture and garden design, exceptional for the way in which the buildings are integrated into and harmonized with the natural setting, adapting to the topography and retaining indigenous tree cover.

Drawing of Hannam Bridge over the Han River in Seoul (South Korea)

With its three southern branches reaching the Chu border,
And its nine streams touching the gateway of Jing,
This river runs beyond heaven and earth,
Where the colour of mountains both is and is not.
The dwellings of men seem floating along
On ripples of the distant sky —
These beautiful days here in Xiangyang
Make drunken my old mountain heart!

Won Hyo Bridge crossing the Hangang River in Seoul (South Korea)

I was walking down the streets of histories
I was weaving all the wasteful energies
I see million different faces in my dreams
Can’t tell if it’s fake or reality

I was driving my old bike along the stream
I got river veins right up to the sea
I see lovers being shy of kissing deep
Can’t take out the girl inside of me

Gotta take it slow this time (oh, no, no)
You don’t know where you are, cause you’re in my city
Gotta take it slow this time (oh, no, no)
You don’t know where you are, cause you’re in my city

Banpo Bridge over the Han River in Seoul (South Korea)

The longest bridge fountain is located on the Banpo Grand Bridge over the Han River in Seoul (South Korea) which measures 1,140 metres (3,740 ft 1 in). It was constructed by Seoul Metropolitan Infrastructure Headquarters. Running along the length of the bridge are 380 nozzles that send 54 tonnes (60 tons) of water cascading 43 m (140 ft) horizontally and 20 m (65 ft) down into the river every minute. In the evening, LED lights illuminate the water spray, which “dances” in time to 100 different pieces of music.
