Copplestone Castings Road Warrior

Finished my last member of my cast for Saturday's Post Apocalypse 7TV day. I have several versions of the infamous Road Warrior but I think this one has to be my favourite of them all. Deciding to switch from a single Star to two Co-Stars it made senses to include the Hardy version of Max to go with my Furiousa from Hasslfree miniatures. Lovely model to paint I do love the sculpting style of Copplestone.

All the infantry for my Cast.

I tweaked Angels of Justice Profiles for Max and Furiosa. Swapping some effects for new ones. Spy for Repair on them both. Dodge for Leader 1 on Furiousa and Dodge for Gadget on Max. I switched a point of Spirit for Mind on Max as well

Both lost there pistols for a Self loading rifle and Sawnoff Shotgun as per models.

The 3 armed Vuvalini got Soldier profiles with the close combat armed Vuvalini getting technician profiles.

Copplestone Scavengers Part 1

Been meaning to pick up these guys for a while. They are a wonderful ragtag looking bunch of fighters wearing scavenged tattered gear and armed with a wide mix of weapons and equipment. I picked two packs  out of the four sets from Copplestone Castings Future Wars line. From the Scavengers section the two packs I picked are the Scouts and Tankbusters. I plan on using them mainly for Across the Dead Earth as they have a generic look to them. Though some may find there way in to zombie gaming at some point. I may get the characters and the standard pack as well at somepoint as they have shotguns in those packs which will come in handy later on.

The tankbusters I picked up mainly for the guy with the flame thrower and the guy lobbing the molotov and armed with an smg. Though one of the rocket launcher guys will come in hand for Across the Dead Earth. I'll still paint them all up though. I may get an urge do an alien invasion or perhaps a terminator themed game they'd fit in that theme well as well.

First 3 guys finished have just been picked randomly from the ten miniatures of both packs. I felt a bit rusty with these guys and at first the colours I chose seemed a bit to bright so I changed/toned them down a bit so they'll seem different from the paint table Saturday pics. I'll be working on the other 7 figures over the next few weeks as I want to get my eye back into painting more regularly as it seems to have been less and less lately.

First two guys are from the Scouts pack with the guy armed with the flame thrower from the tankbusters. My only issue with these sets was the mould lines that went across the faces they where a pain to clean off. Never had that problem before with any Copplestone figs so not sure why it happened with these guys.

Bullets Vs Arrows

Painted this fantastic Zombie hunter by Rogue Miniatures 'Herb' very cool figure. Love the fact he's armed with a modern bow.

Finshed my last two Copplestone Future Wars Bad Guys in Suits. Really seem to drag out painting these. Yet when I bought them I couldn't wait. Guess I couldn't make my mind up on paint schemes. I wasn't to sure about Afro dudes suit colour but I'm warming to it. I intend to use him with my KKBB Soul Section
The dude with two pistols will find many uses from Zombie Apocalypse to KGB agent. I've included a group shot at the bottom of all the other previous figures from this pack.

Apologies about the pictures weather is pants.

On the bench I have a bit of allsorts again. Some Crooked Dice Minions, more Artizan KKBB. Some members of the Ungentlemanly Warfare Department

Kid Survivor, Agent and a Bad guy

A bit mixed this week been painting bits from a few differnt sets as to what takes my fancy.

I've painted up a Kid Survivor whom I've named as Stanley for some weird. I first saw him over at Chez Gnotta' blog on his WIP bench and at Vampifan's blog in his latest ATZ report. He is a Horrorclix figure.

I thought I gotta have that kid catapults are cool. A quick browse on ebay and he arrived 3 days later .
They come as a pair mounted on the same base his sister is still on my bench WIP. I have just realised I have no picture of the rear. But you can see it on the photos below of my other two figures painted.

The other two figures are 'Face' from the Foundrys B team and a Bad Guy in suit from Copplestone castings Future Wars line. Face I've painted as long rage support for my agents posted previously as he his armed with a nice rifle. The Bad guy in suit i'm not decided on his use yet. It maybe that he will represent myself as his hair is pretty spot on. I'm kinda in the process of thinking up names and background so I won't reveal more until i'm sure thats how I want to go.

Anyway enjoy the pics any tips let me know

I only have two of these to show for know. I have one other started but i'm not sure on what colours todo the clothing.

Progress Update with a Piccie

Here we have my Copplestone Future Wars Pack FW5 Bikers.

The three at the rear are finished apart from basing and giving them a layer of varnish.

The front two and my random bid which won me a Foundry Street Violence Figure with an M60 type gun. Skins finished just layering the clothing on. (I think he fits in quite well).

Hoping to have them all painted by the weekend. Can't decide what to do with base there gonna just gave sand added as a texture but not sure on what colour yet.

Ha and I just realised my dog is asleep on sofa in background.
