Happy November!!  It's a new month, so that means a new sketch to play along with! Yesterday we launched the first card sketch of the new month at Sketch N Scrap!!

November 1st sketch challenge @ Sketch N Scrap

Happy Sunday!  Yesterday Sketch N Scrap launched their November 1st challenge featuring a three photo sketch created by yours truly!!  I had fun creating this sketch as well as a layout using the sketch!

I was able to use up some left over stickers as well as some scraps from my May 2020 Flavors of the Month kit. This kit is almost used up and I have moved the remaining scraps and stickers into my scraps bin, it feels good to make more room in my stash!  These pictures of my friend and her granddaughter were a perfect fit for this collection!  I hope you will find time to join us at Sketch N Scrap this month!!  We can't wait to see what you create!!

I made this card for a special someone who loves to sew!  I love how it turned out and hope she will love it too when I give it to her on her birthday! These papers/stickers were from my DoubleShot Kit from August of 2021 at The ScrapRoom!  I am slowly trying to use up my past kits before purchasing any new ones as my craft room is busting at the seams!!!  I am sure I am not the only one with this issue lol!  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out what the other DT members did with the sketch!!

January 5th card sketch @ Sketch N Scrap!

Happy  Hump Day!! Today we launched the first card sketch of the new month and the New Year at Sketch N Scrap!!

I used only scraps from three past kits at The ScrapRoom to make this card and I love how it turned out!  This birdie is so adorable and I love the way these papers mixed together from a variety of manufacturers to create a beautiful card!  I made my own tag with the tag corner punch from Stampin' Up and then circle punches to make my own hole reinforcer out of black cardstock.  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out what the other DT members did with the sketch!!  Happy creating!

I love everything Vicki Boutin puts out and this line is no different!  I loved this word paper so much I just had to use it as my background! I love this line from last year's Fall collections!! I love how this card turned out!  I used all scraps from desk to create this card!  I didn't like how plain the white background was so I pulled out an embossing folder to dress it up and I love the look!  I need to put my embossing folders to work more often, they add so much to your cards!  Goodness knows I have SOOO many that I have no shortage of embossing folders and no excuse to not use them, so be on the look out to see more embossing on my cards and projects!!  Make sure and check out what the other DT members on the Sketch N Scrap blog did with this fun sketch, it will surely inspire you!  I hope you will find time to join in the fun at Sketch N Scrap before the end of the month!  Happy creating!

I made this card in record time!! Sketch N Scrap #233

I loved this kit!  It is so pretty and elegant! These papers went so well with these two pictures of my son and his girlfriend!  I love these stickers which give the appearance of layering and being 3D without the bulk!!

TGIF!! Today I was lucky enough to get some free time this afternoon to play along with the September 1st sketch at Sketch N Scrap!  I really loved this sketch when I first saw it, as I really love the look of a big circle!!  Here is the sketch by sketch artist Heather Hall:

I had so much fun with this layout! I loved that I was able to use up papers and embellishments from my September Great Stash Bash kit too!  The only paper I didn't use from the kit was the Crate Paper Oasis paper I used for the background.  But still a win in my book as I used up another piece of paper!! YAY!  I am working hard on using up my kit this month, but it is HARD to use up 10 papers!!  I have barely made a dent in my kit with this one layout but stay tuned, I will be working on making a few cards next!!  I hope you will join in the fun at Sketch N Scrap this month or why not join in the fun and play along with Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash challenge and make up a kit to create with?
