Age of Sigmar: Orghotts Daemonspew

One final addition to my Nurgle forces with one of the Maggoth lords:

Orghotts Daemonspew is the leader type one of the three Maggoth Lords: he's not particularly good at fighting but he does have a decent command ability with reroll wounds! Crucially as well he is cheap at 220pts, has a base 3+ save with 12 wounds and as a hero monster he has full access to heroic actions and monstrous actions.

Hes also fast enough to keep up with stuff like Blightlords or a Corruptor for some balance tipping rerolls with his being a hero phase comman ability so it can stack with all out attack or defence etc.

Age of Sigmar: Plague Drones and done!

With these last three models I've completed my Maggottkin of Nurgle army!

In the last 17 months i have painted 184 models for the force, 5830pts of Rotbringers/Daemons/StD/Pestilens, and now calling them complete until AoS3 is released or a new Battletome comes out.

Age of Sigmar: Finally done with Plaguebearers!!

Last of the buggers are done hehe:

That's 80 of these boys done for my Tallyband of Nurgle army; 30, 30, 10 and 10! I could probably do with another 10 maybe for summoning but I have enough other projects to crack so that will have to do without for now.

Age of Sigmar: Plaguebearers!

Another week gone but its been a productive one, I've painted up another 20 of my Plaguebearers backlog ready for some table time!

The darker ones are part of a larger blob i started a while ago, the lighter ones are my 3rd battleline choice for my all daemon Tallyband whoop!

Age of Sigmar: Spoilpox Scrivener and Gutrot Spume

Two more important heroes for my Maggotkin with the updated Spoilpox and the badass Gutrot Spume haha:

More to follow soon as i crack on with the next batch of Plaguebearers!

Age of Sigmar: Sloppity Bilepiper!

I finally picked one up! All it took was for gw to give this awesome model the rules it deserved haha:

A fantastic addition to my Nurgle forces, and soon to be joined by some more friends too...

Age of Sigmar: Plaguebearers

Time to start on the backlog of nurgle models that have been sat around since the summer haha

Ten more Plaguebearers for the hordes, only another 30 to go!

Age of Sigmar: Moar Blight Kings!

For ages I've had 20 Blight kings as a 10 and two 5s... now I can finally field three 10s for glory hehe:

Thirty of these fat boys waddling across the board will be epic! I've used a few Blood Bowl Bloaters this time for a bit of variety and they were significantly cheaper than another 5 kings haha.

Age of Sigmar: Plagueclaw Catapult

Look look, nurgle can get a shooting phase too haha:

Yes its a bit crap but its something a bit different and was cheap as chips off ebay, might get some use too!

Age of Sigmar: Thricefold Befoulment

The ground shakes as the fat lads trio arrive on the scene haha, finished my 3rd GUO today:

This one will see the most play i reckon as the Bell and Bileblade are certainly the most useful combination of weapons.

And now that i have all three painted i can put the Thricefold Befoulment on the table on Monday against some bone reapers yeah boi:

Thats 960pts of blubber bowling down the battlefield!!!!

Age of Sigmar: All hail the Rainfather!

Sold off some stuff over the weekend and ordered a couple of the Great Unclean One boxes to let me run a Thricefold hehe. As soon as they arrived yesterday morning i got cracking on the first one and now have a Rotigus Rainfather waddling along in my ranks:

He's the special character GUO, the last one will be built as a support model with the Doomsday Bell and Bile Blade which are important to get the army moving and some spells cast!

I also finished off the last pair of Pusgoyle Blightlords that have sat languishing at the bottom of the pile since day one purchase:

Amazing models, i just wish they were better on the table!

Age of Sigmar: Finished the Marauders and painted some manky mirrors!

Finally finally i have finished off my marauder block haha! And painted up the Umbral Spell Portal for some new list shenanigans:

I have ordered two more Great Unclean Ones... to make a bell boy and Rotigus so i can put the Thricefold Befoulment on the table... 960pts of big fatty for the win!

The spell portal is needed as the battalion buffs the GUOs plague wind spell to decent levels of mortal wound output.

Completing these ten marauders just leaves me with two Pusgoyle Blightlords to finish and im all painted for Nurgle.

Age of Sigmar: Clan Pestilens Plague Priests

I finished these the night before we went on holiday and just got back yesterday evening hehe; lovely weeks camping in sunny sunny Norfolk!

Arch Plague Priest (Anvil of Apotheosis character - Plague Lord Nurglitch)

Plague Priests (Lord Skrolk and Nurglitch's assistant)

I plan to add a fair sized Pestilens element to my Grand Alliance Nurgle army eventually but since i had these siting around i figured i would get a scheme tested and im pretty happy with how they have turned out; distinct but also linked to the overall Nurgle scheme feel.

Age of Sigmar: Moar Marauders!

Another week at the grindstone with sod all painting time!

Finished these off this morning:

That's 30/40 of the big block finished, and i will soon be able to get the whole unit on the table! ive signed up to a local tourney on the 20th of September so will need to finalise soon what im taking so i can get that planned out and painted.

Age of Sigmar: Plague Drones

I've been working on these on and off throughout the week and finally crossed the finish line this morning!

Some Plague Drones for the summoning pool, not sure i can fit them in a list as they currently stand and with just the three of them hehe.

More fragile than Pusgoyles but better at taking buffs as there are more of them, neither are brilliant so hopefully they get some love in a new Maggottkin book.

Age of Sigmar: Marauders and Warshrine

Some more servants of the Plague God finished off:

Chaos Warshrine with Mark of Nurgle

More Marauders (20/40)

The Warshrine is the Horus Heresy Daemon Cor'bax Utterblight, i've had him for a few years and was contemplating selling it but i then figured he was about the same size as a warshrine so has now found home haha.

Getting through those marauder conversions... slowly!

Age of Sigmar: More minions for Papa Nurgle

A few more additions to the armies of the Plague God:

Chaos Marauders (10/40!)

Nurglings

Lord of Plagues

So i have the start of a core block of mortal troops, some summonable daemon chaff and another Rotbringer hero hehe.

More soon!

Age of Sigmar: Kneel before the Plague!

With the pts changes in GHB20 i was gifted with 130 spare in my painted list haha, so if i drop the spare command point i have i can add in another five Putrid Blightkings and look at an endless spell.

I've also painted a Chaos Lord in preparation for building a big block of Chaos Marauders and a Warshrine to do a mostly Mortal version of the force too:

Work has begun on the marauders, there's forty of them so it may take some time...

Age of Sigmar: Feculant Gnarlmaws

After what seems like an age i have finally got these poxy trees painted haha:

The evil trees have been sat in various stages of completion for about two months now, i would do bits on them every now and then but never get very far until this weekend and i was able to finish them whey!

Age of Sigmar: Harbinger of Decay

Finished off this chap last night whilst a few of the bunker guys did a zoom hangout hehe:

The standard Harbinger of Decay is a great model but its of its time and very small compared to the modern plastics, so i made my own from a spare Blight Lord body and an ebay purchase Varanguard horsey!

Turned out pretty well i think.
