Age of Sigmar: New stormcast army on the horizon!!

The lure of those awesome new stormbro sculpts in the Thunderstrike armour has been too strong to resist haha... I was good and waited till I found a half dominion set for a decent price though!

First up to be more elite units from the set:

Annihilators

Praetors

Annihilators are like super heavy infantry, terminators for AoS as it were, and Praetors are an elite bodyguard unit that can tank hits for n attached hero whilst also being pretty choppy in a fight!

Age of Sigmar: Vanguard Longstrikes.... and done!

Wow 19th of August was my last post haha, and i think it was a day or so after that the last time i picked up a brush before today!

Man I am glad these are finally finished, and with them i also have a full 2000pts Astral Templars army that i think i started back in April....


Still, all good tho, can concentrate on my Pigsplitterz now though without distraction.

Age of Sigmar: Moar Sequitors!

Time is the most precious resource that we have; I have spent most of this year with very little time haha... but not the last two days!

Working night shifts can be a killer but also a blessing as you get plenty of extra daylight hours for painting!

Age of Sigmar: Stormcast Sequitors

Cant believe its been nearly two weeks haha, work is so shit right now! Yesterday i caught a break and did about 75% of the job on these models and just finished the basing off this afternoon when i got back in from my weekend job:

Now they are finished and sat on the shelf i can see the army starting to take shape hehe, but its going to be a slow builder unless i can really smash some stuff out this week as we are starting a club AoS league with new armies each.

Well that week went quick! These seem to have taken an age to finish off haha

Four cheeky Celestar Ballistas for my army hehe, deep strike these buggers in and then blast the crap out of what i target... hopefully!

Age of Sigmar: Lord Arcanum on Gryph-Charger

Here is the general for my force of Stormbros, a Lord Arcanum on Gryph-Charger:

He's quite a bit overcosted compared to recent releases like Vermin Lords etc, but I needed one version of a Lord Arcanum to make Sequitors battleline in my force... this one is at least reasonably resilient and has a command ability, spell and at a pinch can late game objective grab with his wind riding ability.

Age of Sigmar: Astral Templars

Hot on the heels of my Flesheaters come the Astral Templars Stormhost!

This is a tourney build army I am putting together, going balls deep into a pop n drop stormbros force to eliminate the biggest monster threat my opponent has to offer haha:

To start me off I have a Lord Ordinator for a +1 to hit on warmachines, a unit of Judicators for a compulsory 3rd battleline unit, and a Knight Incantor for a crucial auto unbind.

Shadespire: Core Set Painted

Bit of a delay on these as the shop i ordered it from closed for a week to go on holiday when Shadespire was released doh!

Still, i got both the Stormcast and Khorne warbands painted up yesterday:

For the Bloodreavers i decided to tie them in to my existing Khorne army for AoS nice and simple, but the Stormcast i wanted to do a little different! I settled on the Sons of Horus scheme from the Warhammer TV tutorial with a rakarth flesh drybrush rather than dawnstone edging to warm them up a bit and also the bases have a lot of grey already.

I hope to have my Ironskull's Boyz and the Sepulchral Guard this week... that order too was messed up with the shop holiday!
