Happy New Year! 2014

We were lucky to spend New Year's Eve with Shellie, Allen, Lindsey, Erin and her family, Shane and boys, and Grandma and Grandpa.  They are good to us and have always been!

It's been a long time since we've had a baby at our house.  Our children had to know what
it was like to hold a little one again!  Seth was a good sport to be passed around!
Whitney is a doll.  She was really into doing mom's hair!
Let the games begin.  Pass the Pigs is so awesome!
Lindsey was so good to let these girls play with her special Belle dolls.  Ella was honored.
Rachael couldn't get enough of playing with these girl cousins.
Lindsey at the center of the children.  We love her so much!  She rocks!
 Evey lost a tooth...I think...
A new year with new hair.  Erin did a fabulous job!  It was way fun to try out a new color!
It sure was sad to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa!  We always have such
a fun time with them.  Evey was so cute to paint many good bye pictures for them.

Emery's Birthday 12.30.13

Happy Birthday Emery!  Out of all our children I believe Emery loves her birthday the most!
She talks about it months in advance, planning, and dreaming what it will be.  She loves that
it falls a week after Christmas because then saying goodbye to Christmas is not so sad.
Her birthday is something to look forward to and whatever gifts she did not receive for
Christmas, then she could request for her birthday!  She also shares her special day with
her special cousin Claire.  December 30 is perfect for our girl!  We love her
excitement for birthdays and love her for her kind, gentle, and peaceful spirit.
What a beautiful 11 year we have been blessed with!  We sure had fun days celebrating her!
Her breakfast of choice.  Emery is such a cereal fan!  She could eat it for all 3 meals!
It's always great that there's no school on her birthday.  Emery chose to
go sledding in Cedar City for her birthday activity!
Thank goodness for this little bit of snow left over at the High School.
We made good use of it!
The candles say, "Em 11" with a pink heart.  She requested a carrot cake.

 Money, money, money!

Collection from Christmas and birthdays
Emery loves to carry on her tradition of going to a movie the night of her
birthday.  She invited her dear friend Elise and I along.  We enjoyed watching
Frozen for the umpteenth time:)
A day or so later her dad and I were able to take her out for a yummy
birthday lunch choice of  KFC.  She loves her one on one time!
And then I took these girly girls shopping at the mall with all of their birthday and Christmas money.  They LOVE this activity.  True girls!
 One of their purchased treasures!
Lyndsi is such a thoughtful friend.  She picked out Emery's very own loom band kit!
Loom bracelets and charms were all the rage at this time.  Emery was good to make them with
Owen and show him some new kinds of bracelets.  He's our little pal over here!
Then about a month later Emery was lucky to celebrate once again, with her friends!
Making bracelets, eating pretzel bites, being koo koo, and watching the Lone Ranger was
the intinerary.  Emery becomes the most excited person I know at her birthday parties!
Conga line!
 Her friends are so sweet!
The Lone Ranger was one of Emery's favorite movies at this age.  She
could not stop talking about it:)
