Back to school and other activites

Yes I know I am posting late..but better late than never, right?!  We are well into school now that it is December!

Carter is still attending SRIS and is in the 7th grade.  He did very well on his first day.  It was less nerve wracking for him since he knew his way around the school!  He is having a good year.  He misses his many great teachers from 6th grade. His favorite class is orchestra with Mrs. Candland.  She is his favorite teacher as well!
Here are my elementary kids ready to start at Horizon!  Evey loves to be a part of the gang!  It's so strange for just she and I to be at home together. I no longer have babies at home-WEIRD! I love spending the day with her!  She's my little buddy!
Caden is in the 5th grade and has Mrs.Ott-Carter had her.  We think she's great!  Emery is in 3rd grade and has Mrs.Brackett who is her absolute favorite teacher in the world!  This is the first year that Emery has looked forward to going to school.  Miss Ella is my first grader and I miss her so much being gone all day.  Why, just why do they have to grow up??  She has Mrs.Angona who is absolutely wonderful as well!  We are so blessed to have these incredible teachers!  I don't know if this 2011-2012 school year will be matched!  Cute little Ella is here on her first day getting her first ever school lunch of mac and cheese.  She was thrilled, and ate it right up!  Aw, she even has those grown up teeth coming in!
Things at home stay exciting and fun!  I just love it when all 5 kids play together!  Love to see their imaginations at work!
Don't you love the dividing line made with swords, cars, and a castle!
I thought this mega blocks pyramid was creative!
We went to Kolob Reservoir with the Meyers.  There was a bit of fishing..
 picnicing,
 walking by the shore,
 and crawdad catching, and cooking!
EW!  Sorry to throw this one in!
Starting the fire to cook these yummy creatures!
 Look at Curt's face!
There was taste testing from the boys, dads, and I, but the little girls..no way!  Just screaming!

That was a very fun day!
