It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

We had the greatest Christmas ever! Hope you did too! We received 26 Christmas cards, some of them all the way from Canada and across the pond. Our former neighbors brought us all kinds of great toys and treats on Christmas eve!

We also got a very cool surprise on Christmas eve..... Our Secret Paws package arrived all the way from New York! We were so excited to see our Secret Paws was Sammy Meezer! We got FOUR bags of temptations, Fancy Feast Appetizers, a feather boa and cat nip mice. Dixie Dog got a delicious butcher's bone and some squeaky toys! Thank you Sammy Meezer for all of the wonderful toys and treats! Best Christmas ever!

I've Got The World On A String

Look what our servants bought us over the weekend......It's a Fling-ama-string! The lady's boss gave her a $50.00 gift card to PetSmart, so we got this and some more WBCL.
It's just what we've always wanted! We've already worn down the rechargeable batteries several times!

Last Christmas - Friday Flashback

We love to read Eric and Flynn's Friday Flashbacks, so we decided to do one of our own. This one is from Friday, December 19, 2008. Enjoy!

We all had huge roles in getting the Christmas gifts under the tree this year. We're all exhausted from our hard work and can't wait for this Santa Claws guy to finally come! Well, all of us except Maizy Grace.
Maya served as a place holder for the gifts that were being wrapped.
Cal compacted the gifts before they were wrapped so more could be placed under the tree.
Chevelle found an open drawer and got her furs all over the mans clothes.
Ferris periodically checked the temperature of Cal's nose to make sure he was not overheating in his sweater, while compacting gifts.
Maizy Grace hid in the cabinet after Ferris told her disturbing lies about Santa Claws.
Maggie May stood guard over the gifts, making sure Cal did not come back to compact them after they had been wrapped.

We'd like to thank Ann of Zoolatry for this wonderful Cal ornament. We love it, thank you so much!

Girl Next Door

Meet Lily!
But, don't get all excited....she's not going to be another Creek Cat!
She just came over for a visit while her third grade human was getting her weekly art lesson from the lady. They live a few houses down.
We were all on our very best behavior and never hissed, growled or swatted little Lily! We are very good kitties!

All I Want For Christmas Is You

Cal's first Christmas, 8 weeks old

Yesterday would have been Cal's 11th Gotcha Day. Since Cal was brought home around Christmastime, it was his favorite holiday of all. He loved tissue paper, bows, boxes, bags and ornaments. I really miss his help wrapping the present this year. It's just not the same without him.

Thanks to Loki for this great award! We will proudly display it in our trophy case!! We would like to pass this award along to all of our great friends!

Cluster Pluck - Formerly Feral Friday

Meet Paisley!

How's this for formerly feral....
This kitten was from the colony two businesses down from where the servants work. Three of the four kittens were TNR'd at the Halloween clinic last month and their sister Autumn (the fourth kitten) was spayed and then post op'd at our house a few days after. Well, somehow, Paisley ended up almost 2 miles away from her colony and under a house two doors down from the BCCP President. Maybe she pulled a Maggie May and hitched a ride under someone's car hood?
Well, thank goodness she ended up where she did! They've decided to put her in the BCCP foster/adoption program since she is super friendly and would have a great chance of finding a home. The lady is shocked at how friendly she is, concidering her sister, Autumn, bit the tar out of the lady's hand when she was being post op'd here...haha... funny story!

She will not be fostered at our house since our man servant wants to keep all the foster kittens, e.g. Maizy, Ferris, Rambler, Maggie May and Saylor - yeah, all fosters!

Hey, doesn't Paisley look like a mini Ginger or Zoey?

We couldn't find a song title with the word paisley, so we used a Brad Paisley song title instead.
