A massive Digimon that defends the mysterious "aerial, covert honey base, Royal Base". Although the aerial base is exposed to danger from all angles, Cannonbeemon is able to cover a vast range with a bombarding barrage fired simultaneously from the gigantic arms containers on its upper body. Also, even if the opponent is heavily armored, it can use its Special Move "Nitro Stinger" to shoot clean through them with its high-caliber laser cannon. Its "Sky Rocket ∞" fires shots from its containers, which boast an innumerable number of loaded ordnance, and will continue furiously until the coast is completely clear.

Cannonbeemon is one of the Commandments. It originally appeared as Waspmon, but evolved into Cannonbeemon to thwart Agumon's idea that he could beat it as Geo Greymon due to his higher DP.[16] However, he was still beaten by Geo Greymon's Mega Burst thanks to Tsurugi's Digisoul.[29]

Several more Cannonbeemon are part of the Commandments, first shown bombarding Light City.[30]

The remaining Cannonbeemon of the Commandments later joined the heroes' side for the final battle against N.E.O[31].

Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Misono Inori and Aegiomon found three Cannonbeemon about to attack a Muchomon, a Gekomon and a Pyokomon when they returned to Gear Forest in "Too Late". Griffomon then joined the fight on the Agent's side.

After travelling back in time in "The Titans' Grudge", the Agent's party managed to reach the Cannonbeemon situation slightly earlier. This time, it was not Griffomon but Lotusmon who showed up to help. The result was the same either way.
