i didn’t like how quickly it jumped into the physical stuff cause everything seemed superficial, but by the second half I was digging Jonathan, which I never thought I’d say. The dates and compromises at the end were kinda sweet.
Aurora was a good heroine and I’m curious to see what happens next. What seemed laughable though, was that she NEVER gets wet, but on the FIRST time Jonathan touches her, she magically doesn’t have that problem ...more

I am living for these slow burns. I loved their relationship and how it progressed and I could actually see how they slowly fell in love. It was so amazing to see. The dates??? this was a solid book. I couldn't stop reading, even though it took me a bit in the beginning to get into it. It's not super dark, so if that's what's stopping you, go ahead! Just read the TW at the beginning of the book :)
☆ romance ☆
I'm surprised at the romance honestly. I wouldn't call this insta-love, but more of a insta-lust. They get together pretty early in the book, but the feelings take their time, which I liked.
At first, everytime Vad (H) talked I couldn't help but laugh cause it was a bit absurd the way he talked, but as I got more into the story, I got used to it and eventually accepted it. Now, Corvina (h) was a sweet girl, she was quirky, but I liked how there wasn't any "bullying" and stuff like that, cause it wasn't thrown in our faces the fact that she was "different" every 10 pages. The author sets her character, describes her to us and just continues with the story. I liked that. I'm not super crazy about the romance, though. It was fine. BUT, the only scene that had me SWOONING, and absolutely giggle like a little girl was when Vad confessed his feelings, that scene with the tarot cards...more

This was definitely my favorite one. I absolutely loved this one. I think my main issue was when it became romantic like the transition wasn’t smooth but other than that I loved this book. I think it was my favorite from the three and I think by the end I was kind of tearing up because everyone just was so happy together and it’s just so found family trope and I love them so so much. And then the baby and the surprise pregnancy was sooo good.

I think this was also more more emotional because of Max. I mean every single book had an emotional element and it always hit me hard, they were really well-written. The emotional scenes of the beginning were good. The third one was about Max and Mason and their family and I don’t know it just hit me hard and I love them and Max and I wanna hug him and I’m so glad he’s okay now.
Glory and Mason and the baby I love them and then the Callihan family also I love them. I am so happy I read this series. I didn’t know what to expect but it surprised me because it was light and fun but also emotional and I don’t know I liked it.
This one the conflict at the end wasn’t so rushed like a complained before in the other books. I’m very glad about that, it was better and the beginning was just so nice with the enemies to lovers vibe and I just I really loved this. I really devoured this series.
I really recommend it to anyone who likes romance and found family and just fun/light books.

now this one was M E S S Y.
It takes place almost 5 years after the last book. And it was even more like a telenovela. I wouldn’t consider it safe as for cheating, though. It’s just all really messy and complicated, but there is something like cheating so beware.
Like I said in my previous review: This duet enhances humanity me thinks. The h and H are not always good people, they are selfish and sometimes, that’s just how it is. I can appreciate the lack of perfection in creating the characters. The simple writing made everything easy to digest and quick to read.
And I think this second part easily encapsulates what I meant. I honestly couldn’t stop reading. It wasn’t that good, I was just interested in what was going to happen.
I didn’t love any character, felt mostly bad for Angie, and kinda just neutral about everyone else. I loved Reese’s calling though, her job?? I loved hearing about it and how much she loved it.
I won’t say much cause most of the book is just a back and forth of the same dilemma, it was okay. I liked the duet, it entertained me and pulled me out of a slump, so I’m happy with it. ✨

“You know it’s…” I shook my head “… ironic. Adults, real adults, like to lecture young adults like me. They like to paint this picture of hopes and dreams, endless possibilities, and constantly remind us that we can do anything, be anything. But that’s a lie. Because all I wanted was to live a day at a time and figure things out one moment at a time. That’s all I wanted to do. And all I wanted to be was yours.”
so, honestly this wasn’t amaaazing. But it was exactly what I needed. I was getting a slump and this pulled me out of it. I would suggest to not take it too seriously, I mostly read it as if it were a telenovela. And it was fun.
Reese stressed me out with all the Christian talk and zero arc, but it wasn’t totally unbearable. Fisher was hmmm okay i guess. He was flirty and liked to hook up with women, it’s fine.
*If you are uncomfortable with age gaps (here it’s 10 years), when the h is just 18, this may not be for you*
My main issue with this one was that the transition from acquaintances to “omg i need to kiss you i like you pls fuck me” was abrupt, once that happened I automatically kinda broke the connection with the characters, cause I just didn’t believe it.
The abstinence and non-sex they had was hawtttt. That’s mostly what kept me going. Also their little inside jokes and sayings like “I’m thinking about it”. I liked that.
