I'll admit the enemies-to-lovers wasn't the best, cause like its obvious they liked each other after like one chapter, BUT, the backstory and feud between their families? chef's kiss, delicious!!!
I won't say much, but Liam? loved him adored him my sweet angel. Violet? badass LOVED HER, great MC. Xander? he is so nice, but like let me see more of him please, I need his POV next book. I do admit the romance was a bit weird, like how it was developed. I wish we could've seen them have at least a date and like talk about normal date things lol. But once they loved each other, I was IN. Tairn? BEST CHARACTER EVER ISTG!!!!! I WANT HIM AS MY DRAGON SO BAD. AND ANDARNA??? SWEET BABY I ADOREEEE HEEEERRRRR. Dain? he can drop dead.
This was so good, it's not perfect, but I just loved it. The whole training and then the dragon, jesus, it's so fun. And the whole plot and stories, damn, I really wanted more.

I liked it, I think it was kinda anticlimactic though… and I’m still mad about Bambi (my child deserved better). I had a complaint about how Zayne’s characters kinda was there and we didn’t see his growth BUT i just found out there’s a trilogy for him, so I won’t comment on that cause I have a whole trilogy about him I’m so happy, I love him <33333

well that was a fun sweet interesting novella. I was debating whether to read this at the end of the trilogy or first, and I’m glad I chose to read it first. It was a great way to enter this world and now i’m a bit familiarized with how things work.
I liked the quick second chance romance between Jas and Dez, I liked her. She had fire within her and that’s something I’ll ALWAYS appreciate in fantasy books.
I don’t usually get this urge to read fantasy, but today it was super strong. I’m glad I picked this trilogy, it looks really promising!!!

well that was really good!! I didn’t know it was a teenagey trilogy, but I actually loved it. I think is one of the only (teenage) series that isn’t cringey.
So Layla was fun. i’ve read in other reviews that Layla was a bit annoying but I personally loved her. Everything she did seem very appropriate for her age and the thing with Zayne and Danika, I couldn’t even fault her because I’ve been there so I was like “no girl, do not apologize he’s being a dick”. And the end?? GIRL I WAS LOVING FOR HER FIGHTINGGGG!!!! Oh and her not being “I’m in love” after a week? Thank you JLA...more
