All in all, I loved it. In S6 i kinda had no notes. And I stand by that. Watching them both grow up from 12 up to 18 years of age was an absolute treat and even though they frustrated me and made me want to scream at them, I loved them and I enjoyed them so so much.
In R6, shit hit the fan, in the most cruel, raw and brutal way. We all knew it was coming, having read Johnny and Shan’s books, but being with Joey through those times? Actually knowing every deep thought?? it was brutal and it HURT. Really really hurt. But honestly? Watching their lives change, watching Johnny arrive and Edel and John?? My heart was soaring, I couldn’t wait for my baby Joey to finally have the parents the guidance, the love he deserved. Joey did the work, he did it and I love him and I’m so damn proud of him and I will always go to war for him. He is MY BABY. He is my Joey and I love him to death.
(it did get slow at the 30-40% mark but meh, still 5 stars✨ )
As for Aoife, she is MY GIRL. It was such a change and she was a fighter through and through. I appreciate soooo much her letting me be with her through these hard times and getting to know her deeply was such an honor. She was real y’all. She was so real and she made the whole thing lighter. She was light. I love her. Please don’t get me wrong, I do love her and I will always root for her and props to her for everything she did and for being a great mom, but Joey is just my boy. I like how this author incorporates people with disabilities, she makes it in a way that I think is not disrespectful and doesn't points them out as something that HAS to be a big deal, she just writes people and that's great.
I adore the family. I'm not super stoked about the whole "our marriage is in danger" in the next book, but I'll try it.

I loved getting to know all the guys and they added a lot of life into the story.
Nate and Anastasia were good and I loved how their romance progressed. I could feel they were human an non-perfect and I loved getting to know their different perspectives and actually noticing they were both putting an effort in the relationship.
This one at the beginning reminded me a bit of From Lukov with Love from MZ because of the skating, but nah this is nothing like it.

so this one was a bit too fast for me, but I did enjoy the romance a bit more than the last one. The mafia plot was random but okay and the conflict was way too fast, but whatever.
