Aw, Frantor found love. I love that for him. And I kind of dug the whole mask/blindfold deal they had going on. Very phantom of the opera-esque.

You know what threw it off for me a little? Him calling her "sweetheart." It's weird, I know, but it didn't feel like the right term of endearment. Sometimes terms of endearments just aren't necessary, ya know?
Anyhoo. Only one brother left. Gilmat, the green, viney hulk ❤️...more

I totally forgot when I started reading this last night that it was a novella. I don't love quick romance (I like the story to be a slow burn), but this was still pretty cute read. Not sure I love how it ends, but we don't always get to choose how the HEA plays out. Anyhoo.

It's honestly one of my favorites, so the first half of the book worked for me in that way. It helped to counter the instalust on Draka's part, thank goodness. I'm definitely NOT into the insta anything, so I was a tad concerned initially. But this was a good workaround. The book was really easy to put down and not pick back up again, though. It's taken me an entire week to read it, which is saying a lot for such a short book. I think she really lost me with the x-ray goggles. I mean, I laughed out loud literally, but not necessarily in a good way, ya know? It was really silly. Considering I DNF'd the first book in this series, at least I finished this one, right? It's not my favorite of Ms. Riley's work, but it's not the worst book either....more

Maybe I'm the scrooge here, but holiday themes just aren't my favorite. But I could tell from the first book that we were leading into a grumpy/sunshine romance with these two. Hunar has played a pretty big role in the series, so I'm happy he's getting some love. And his spats are precious. Now, the next book is going to be wild. I had ZERO expectations for us to be led in that direction, but I'm here for it. Bring on some Sizzle....more
