"Easy way to set up Online Shop"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

I love how simple and easy it is to use WooCommerce, I personally use it for my Wordpress blog page where I have online Shop as well. It is really easy to integrate everything and you can run your shop in just a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

I don't like the cost of extra features that are available for WooCommerce, simply because there are dozens of free add-ons that can do just the same job as upgrades for WooCommerce and that makes them irrelevant for any WooCommerce user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WooCommerce, powering every step of our online business"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

After years running international ecommerce projects with WordPress, WooCommerce has become essential for our sales and growth. I love how it blends right into WordPress, making product management, payments, and shipping straightforward even as the business scales up. The flexibility means I and our developers can modify or expand anything we need, and it gives us full control over every aspect of our shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

Sometimes setting up complex features, especially with third-party plugins and integrations, takes a bit more time than I’d like and developers help. Occasional compatibility issues crop up, and when something breaks, it can slow things down until it’s sorted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The freedom to sell: WooCommerce free and powerful"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

What I like most about WooCommerce is that it combines two very valuable things:

It is free and flexible: you can start your online store without paying for licenses and then add extensions as needed.

It integrates perfectly with WordPress: it takes advantage of the full power of this platform, making it very easy to customize and scale.

Community and support: there is a lot of documentation, tutorials, and forums where you can find solutions to almost any problem.

Total control of your store: unlike other platforms, you own your information, your design, and your growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

Learning curve: at the beginning, it can be a bit complex to set up for someone without experience in WordPress.

Resource consumption: if not well optimized, it can make the site slower, especially with many products or extensions installed.

Dependency on updates: you have to keep an eye on updates for WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugins to avoid compatibility issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best option for your ecommerce if you don't want to rely on intermediaries"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

The best thing about WooCommerce is that it is free and allows you to create a store tailored to your needs, whether you sell physical products or focus on digital products. You also have other paid plugins at your disposal that are well worth it if you want to create a more specialized business, such as a membership site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

The only problem I see is that the learning curve is greater than if, for example, you decide to use Shopify. It can also be somewhat complicated to manage orders if you are dealing with very large volumes, but it is easy to complement it with other tools that help you in that regard. "WooCommerce Makes E-Commerce Easy and Efficient on Bluehost"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

I have used WooCommerce for making a website on bluehost and it is by far easiest tool to operate for an e-commerce website: listing products, bifurcating on-sale products and new launches, managing price and currency.

Woo helps us to manage inventory very well and creates an alert if a product is about to sell out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

It does not help to generate ai descriptions or images for the product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Integration & Simple Configuration"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

Woocommerce scalability and flexibility are what I like the most about it. It offers thousands of commercial and free extensions, integrates flawlessly with WordPress, and allows me to fully design my store without the need for complex coding. Managing my online business is a breeze because to the user-friendly interface and connectivity with shipping choices, payment gateways, and marketing tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

The primary issue I've observed is that Woocommerce may lag if you need to install several other plugins in order to activate certain fundamental features. Performance and site speed may be impacted, particularly on larger stores. Nonetheless, it remains a strong and adaptable eCommerce solution with appropriate optimization and a solid hosting configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid and Customizable E-commerce Solution for WordPress"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

I like how deeply it integrates with WordPress, giving me full control over my store’s design and functionality. It’s highly customizable, and there are tons of extensions available to suit almost any business need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

It can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially for users without technical experience. Many advanced features require paid extensions, which can increase costs over time. Also, managing performance on larger stores sometimes requires additional hosting or optimization work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost Effective E-Commerce Platform - Best for Integrations and Niche Use Cases"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is massively advantageous for selling anything and everything. I work in an education institute and we use WooCommerce to offer live and recorded courses to our audience. It integrates natively with TutorLMS, Easy Digital Downloads and more to give us a desirable experience.

Having working with Shopify and Wix, I can say with with certainty that it is the most robust tool thanks to the integrations. I have already mentioned TutorLMS and EDD, but they even have tools to play with coupons, FOMO, conversion optimisation, funnel building, and more. I was able to easily setup WooCommmerce and start using it immediately.

I use WooCommerce in my firm to offer courses that can be viewed, bought, and accessed natively without requiring any coding from my end. I also enjoy using conversion tracking which helps optimise funnel and find bottlenecks. Furthermore, the product page allows me to effectively manage products, I can work various products as virtual or downloadable, to better adapt to my unique use case of EdTech.

Overall, an incredible tool, and caters to any conventional or unconventional use case of any organization. I think everyone would appreciate what WooCommerce has been able to build and achieve for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is super customizable, modular, scalable, and adaptable. But this advantage is also a disadvantage when it comes to performance. WooCommerce and all its integrations combined can massively slow down any server. I work on a massive VPS server and even there, the 86% of page speed slowdown can be traced back to the WooCommerce. I think there should be effective solutions to disable unwanted features (n my case things like taxes and shipping are not needed), so that performance is never compromised.

This is my only complaint, but still the benefits far outweigh the issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WooCommerce Can Increase your Promotional Revenue by a Factor of 100"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is the most popular e-commerce solution for the Wordpress website builder. WooCommerce is great for small businesses that seek to sell their products on search engines and social media. Use WooCommerce as a solution to grow your ranking in search results and increase traffic from customers. I use WooCommerce as a promotional to develop awareness for international products. I use WooCommerce daily to publish art for sale in contests. WooCommerce has a great ease of integration with Mailchimp to allow to post product links in email marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

The WooCommerce interface may seem outdated. One recurrent issue is Wordpress' customer support's inability to keep up with its latest updates. The Classic editor helps with functionality but limits editing power. You need to select the right theme as some functionalities are not supported. WooCommerce has a Ease of implementation that requires advanced coding skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Solid Place to run your Ecommerce Business"
What do you like best about WooCommerce?

I like how I can easily find most of what I need, and if I need anything in particular, it's easy to search. I have worked with a company that has used Woo from the beginning of their business 6 years ago and have had no issues or ill will. We have been able to use woo consistently to run our business. It gives us snapshots of what is going on with our site and the plug ins make everything come together perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce?

Honestly, in the last 3 years of using it, I haven't come across too many problems. Every time there has been an issue, contacting customer support has not been an issue, and the problems have been quickly resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
