What do you like best about Xero?

The dashboard is quite user-friendly and intuitive. Reconciling bank accounts is straightforward, and there is plenty of training material to help you get started. Whenever I encounter an issue, the service provided is excellent. The bank feeds function smoothly, which makes it easy to stay on top of everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xero?

When you log in, the system asks if you want to trust your computer. Even after selecting yes, it continues to prompt you with the same question every time you log in. This makes me wonder why the feature exists if it doesn't actually serve a purpose.

Additionally, the system can be challenging to learn simply because it is so extensive. It would be much more user-friendly if there were clearer instructions provided at each step, rather than having to constantly look up guidance on your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Xero Makes Accounting Effortless with Intuitive Invoicing and Powerful Payroll"
What do you like best about Xero?

I’ve been using Xero to manage my sales, invoices, and finances, and I must say it’s one of the best tools I’ve come across, especially since you don’t need an expert to deploy or implement it. Creating and customizing invoices is very straightforward, and the platform is intuitive and user-friendly, making it accessible even for those who are new to accounting software. It allows you to handle all types of sales, track expenses, manage bills, and connect directly to your bank account, all within a single system.

One feature I particularly appreciate is Xero’s payment flexibility. The software supports a wide range of online payment options, including credit cards, online gateways, bank deposits, and even custom payment links. This flexibility lets customers choose the payment method that works best for them, which I’ve found especially useful for businesses of any size, from large enterprises to small startups.

The payroll system is another highlight, even though it’s being phased out. With Xero Payroll, you can manage employee records, monitor hours and overtime, calculate salaries automatically, handle deductions, generate payslips, and file taxes where available. This makes payroll processing both accurate and efficient, helping to reduce stress. In areas where Xero doesn’t provide direct payroll support, it integrates smoothly with certified third-party providers.

I’m also impressed by the real-time financial reporting. Xero provides profit and loss statements, sales reports, cash flow analyses, and comprehensive business overviews, giving you all the information you need to make informed decisions quickly.

in conclusion Xero provides a powerful, flexible, and intuitive platform for handling sales, accounting, invoicing, and payroll. What do you dislike about Xero?

Xero functions well and is generally a good platform. However, I have encountered issues with its payment system. When a seller introduces a custom payment method, tracking certain payments or processing refunds can become complicated, especially if a payment hasn't been accurately recorded or handled as expected. In these situations, it is not straightforward for the buyer to request a refund, since some custom payment methods are controlled exclusively by the seller, which makes it difficult for anyone to file a claim. What do you like best about Xero?

When we started DigitalRyze, I didn’t think much about accounting software. It felt like one of those things you figure out later. But once we started using Xero, I realized how much mental space it saves. Sending invoices to clients in the UK or Canada takes just a few clicks now, and it looks clean and professional, no awkward PDFs or messy spreadsheets. What I really appreciate is the way it keeps everything connected. The moment a client pays, it syncs through Stripe, and I can see it reflected in my dashboard almost instantly. What do you dislike about Xero?

There are a few things that still feel a bit stiff. Some of the deeper reports take a while to figure out, and sometimes I end up Googling how to do something that should be obvious. The mobile app is fine for checking numbers or sending a quick invoice, but it’s not great for more detailed work. I wish it matched the desktop version more closely. What do you like best about Xero?

Xero is how simple it is, even though it's incredibly powerful. Since it's cloud-based, I can check our financial data from anywhere, which makes working with my team so much smoother. The way it automatically handles those tedious accounting tasks like bank reconciliations and invoice tracking is a huge time saver. As someone who works with internal audits, I love how transparent everything is and how easy it is to trace entries back to their source. What do you like best about Xero?

I completely get where you're coming from dealing with poor customer service can make even a good product feel unbearable. Xero really stands out in that way. Its designed to be intuitive, so you don't spend hours trying to figure things out, and when you do need help, their support team is actually responsive and knowledgeable. Its a breath of fresh air compared to some of the bigger brands that treat oyou like just another ticket number. xero makes accounting feel simpler and less stressful, which is exactly what most small business owners need. What do you dislike about Xero?

Xero does such a good job overall that it almost feel like you are waiting for something to go wrong but it never really does. The platform runs smoothly, and the support team knows what they are doing, which is rare these days. Live chat would definitely be a nice bonus for fast questions, but since their phone support is already top notch and easy to reach, its not a dealbreaker at all. its one of those cases where the experience makes up for few small things that could be improved. Xero, but one downside is that in the US, it still does not connect directly to a payroll system. Thats been a bit frustrating since it means i have to handle payroll separately. What do you like best about Xero?

Xero makes day-to-day accounting very straightforward. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate even for non-accountants. Once you get used to Xero, it feels really simple to work with. day to day tasks become smooth and almost automatic, and the layout just makes sense. At times, the system doesn't really fit with how our business processes or internal control work. Even though Xero has strong features, we've had to a few manual workarounds when certain workflow weren't supported. Xero is incredibly easy to use and saves me a tremendous amount of time. Its dashboard is very clean and intuitive, making navigation incredibly simple, even for clients who have no accounting experience. Bank reconciliation is its standout feature: by automatically connecting to my bank accounts, I can reconcile most transactions with just one click, eliminating the need for manual data entry. Plus, it allows me to have unlimited users on almost all plans, which is perfect for giving my entire team and my clients access without any extra cost. It's a truly robust and modern system. What do you dislike about Xero?

I feel that the customization options for invoices and report templates are somewhat limited; I would sometimes like more control over the design. For certain countries, the payroll module isn't as fully developed, or it may be a third-party add-on, which adds an extra step.
