Enjoyed this beautiful ancient town, all the shops & even had some clothes made overnite.

The suite on the boat had a lot of character & nice to have small deck.

Enjoyed walking around the riverbank area and bicycle riding through the cottage area. Lots of coffee shops.

Really enjoyed the hike to the top & the cave was really interesting to visit.

The ladies operating the paddle boats with their feet are awesome! Beautiful karst landscape!

Enjoyed bicycling through the rice fields & villages. Great hike through the jungle with picnic lunch.

Fun and authentic. Ben showed us what local life is like. Enjoyed seeing the countryside, the markets and met someone very special at the end.

We had a great time with our guide Yuki. He was very friendly and organized and was flexible with us when we wanted to change things during the day. We loved seeing the traditional areas of Kyoto, as opposed to the modern feel of the city centers of Kyoto and Tokyo.

We had fun seeing the deer, but be ready to be swarmed by aggressive deer who want crackers, and will definitely let you know if you’re taking too long handling them over by nipping your arms and legs. I’d recommend just watching those less informed feeding them. The area is very nice, but the museum is terrific! Definitely make it a point to spend some time seeing the many artifacts/national treasures inside.

The walk through the bamboo forest was nice, but very crowded. We absolutely loved the grounds surrounding the bamboo forest, as they were very tranquil, and just beautiful with the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Our family of four, with two sons on their twenties, really enjoyed the tea ceremony. It was fun to dress in traditional clothes and learn about the history and traditions behind it. It’s fun for all ages.

Our family enjoyed visiting the Meiji shrine, a peaceful oasis in a busy city. The grounds were very pretty and our guide Kaiko was terrific! We loved learning about the history of the shrine from our guide and from visiting the museum.

He did a great job. Give us great conversation, but we did feel a little rushed. I think his intention was to try to get us to beat all the crowds, but it came across was very rushed. Also, I was a little disappointed that we only visited a few rooms.

This was by far our favorite. And our guide did such a wonderful job. He gave us a great conversation.

Unfortunately, it was closed up top.

Great for a family, get a suite with lounge access. The amenities are amazing and the location was very convenient.

Hide our foodie tour guide is a legend, he was funny, easy going and pleasant to share meals with. He was a great guide and answered questions not related to food as well.

Our guide JJ from Nara to Oska was informative and very pleasant to deal with, she was always helpful in answering our questions.

We got to experience wearing a Kimono, the staff were very helpful and informative when dressing you. Our host teaching us the traditions of why they have a tea ceremony was very informative and pleasant.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great walkable area for food and shopping.

Initially seemed more commercialized than a similar tour in El Nido, but overall this was an amazing, well organized experience.

This hotel was so quient and adorable. The breakfast was truly amazing too. Location was 10/10! Recommend

Large Las Vegas type hotel. Great pools.

The hotel looks great in pictures but is so-so in person. Theres a lot of maintenance and cleanup work that needs done to make the hotel to notch. The pool area was nice but we'd love for it to be heated.

The site was very nice. They could use an additional server or whatever it would take to make meals a bit quicker to get through. The in tent bathrooms were great.

This was a top notch hotel. Really one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. They do everything at an absolutely exceptional level. The grounds are immaculate. The pictures don't do it justice. The meals are Michelin star level and the service in the restaurant is amazing. For example they serve you a many course breakfast but bring everything out so efficiently that you're able to have an amazing breakfast but get in and out of there very quickly. The pool is very nice but isn't heated yet. They're working on adding a heated pool which if they had this I don't think I'd ever want to leave.

Very nice hotel, great food and room experience. We did try to use the pool in the afternoon and it was a bit weird with nowhere to set your clothes/towels and it felt awkward to use it since it's in the middle of the restaurant. It's almost like it's more for aesthetics than it is for use.

Ismail was an exceptional guide. I'm just making sure I write this at least once. I think there will be another page where we review him but I can't tell yet. Happy to give more about how he was if there isn't but just putting it on record that he was amazing.

Great thing to do. Expect to be a bit sore in the legs though. I'm not sure about this but it felt like they could use stirrups for how tired it makes your legs while they just hang there.

This was probably the highlight of the trip. We had 2 options for where to visit and we chose the more challenging ride from the Eden hotel. The ride was beautiful and very challenging as well. Mid ride we got to do some canyoning which was not for the feint of heart but was perfect for our family. The visits with the cave nomads were both amazing and something I'll never forget seeing how other people live. The guides were really amazing and it couldn't have been better.

It was nice to visit the region. The hike was busy and not what I was expecting. The food and area were great.

It was a good tour but I'd skip this one if I could redo it. Partially because we were just a bit tired from travel.

Amazing hotel. Complimentary wine was just the right cherry on top!

The dinner was absolutely amazing here and hospitality was very nice. Not a lot to do in the region, but a great stop between Merzouga and Marrakesh. Important to let travellers know that they do not accept card to pay for the meal.

Recommend if you have one day in the city so that you can hit all the spots, however if you have more time you can definitely walk on your own.

Amazing! I did not think we were going to try so many different things. Highly recommend. Lehson our guide was very informative.

This was also a very long drive. Wish we had had more time at Ait Ben Haddou. Must provide longer times in the itinearies for expectations to be met.

This was the least interesting day. Still a lot of driving and not a lot of intersting stops just quick lookouts for pictures. But worth stopping to cut a bit of travel time to Marrakesh.

Long trip required early wake up. We were not able to stop at Midelt and Erfoud becuase of time. Again the alotted time was not ideal. But we made it to the sunset which was the hightlihgt. Highly recommend.

Sherif was great! Loved the entire experience.

The time for this was not well allocated. We arrived very late to VOlubilis, even stopping our tour early in Blue City. Once we were done with Volubilis it was late and everything was closed in Malay Idris and meknes. We only did Volubilis.

Nice walk around, however we had to start very early and the tour was even stopped 30 min before the end of the alotted time becuase we had to factor in drive to Volubilis. Here is where we though maybe it could have been better organized by the local agency.

Rabat was a definitely nice stop. We had to pay for our entrance to Chellah which was not clear in the itinerary. Which I found confusing. But other than that very nice. However, it is important ot factor in the time to drive to Chefchaoeun since we got in very late.

Because of time we were not able to do a lot of this. This comes in as a feedback to allot time better.

We would rate this hotel very highly. Our "room" was truly a suite with two lovely alcoves overlooking the river and the sparkling view of the city of Udiapur. We enjoyed the swing alcove with a glass of wine each evening. We also ate dinner in their rooftop restaurant and were treated to a colorful light show during our meal. The second alcove offered ottoman style seating, which unfortunately we didn't have enough time for. So we would suggest 3 nights if you'd like to enjoy the full experience! Jacki and Jay Witlen

these caves are an historical journey backing time and well worth a visit

Nice hotel but rather removed from everything, therefore it was not possible to go and walk outside. The plus was that it is near the airport.

Wonderful introduction to the culture of Bali. Taking part in the a religious ceremony and helping to cook a meal as well as a close excursion in the rice field and watching the field being prepared and the rice transplanted.

Sharing the culture and food with the family of this village was wonderful. Interacting with the young children added to the trip. The home cooked meal was one of the best.

Quite crowded but we went at the end of the holidays, so many people there.

I never thought that I would see an orangutan this close. The orangutan performed for us for 20 minutes. This activity alone made my trip.

All the teahouses were good overall, and the food was fantastic in every one of them. Some offered Western-style bathrooms, which we really appreciated. As expected, the facilities varied—at times there was no in-room toilet or sink, and in some places the latrines were located outside. We understood this is part of the conditions in Nepal and were able to adjust without issue. There is not hot water or sometimes no showers at all.

The architecture and location are fantastic. Unfortunately, the temperature inside the hotel was very cold. If this issue were addressed and a proper gathering space were added, I would easily rate it five stars. There was no heating in the hotel, and it often felt colder inside than outside, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Although the beds were equipped with electric blankets—which we did appreciate—the bedrooms were still too cold overall. There was also no real common area to relax, aside from the dining room. That said, the bedroom design and views were excellent, and the food was great.

The hotel in Pokhara could use some improvement in terms of logistics, particularly regarding the yoga class. It was offered at a very high price, but the space was not adequate and the mats were not in good condition and were smelly, we had some problems with the hot water in the bedrooms, there were accomodating and offered another room to take showers. The staff at the restaurant was fantastic. In terms of itinerary, I might consider skipping Pokhara altogether.

A fairly standard hotel room, clean with a comfortable bed. All you really need if you don't plan on hanging out in the hotel (why would you do that in NZ?). The staff were delightful.

They gave us a large, corner room that was very comfortable. It's easy to see why people might love this place for its funky decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one downside was that the bathroom was very small, surprising given the size of our room. Otherwise, it was an interesting change of pace.

Great location and very comfortable. It was kind of like staying in our own little cabin. The office even offered a free glowworm walk for anyone interested in the evening--just to be nice. We really enjoyed it.

We loved this spot. It was right down on the lakeshore, providing a lovely walk into town. We had a full apartment just for the two of us. Everything was like new.

The place is enormous. It felt like we should host a party there. Fun and quirky, but very comfortable.

We had a great time. We basically had the sound to ourselves during this trip. There were only 28 other guests onboard the boat, so it never felt crowded. It was rather cozy, actually. And there was SO MUCH FOOD. What a nice surprise. This was one of the best things we did on our trip to NZ.

We don't have the words to describe how beautiful River Birches Lodge is. The design is impeccable. Jason and Rebeca are great hosts, warm and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The room was very well appointed, and the cedar hot tub was an unexpected bonus. They included a lovely breakfast each day and provided great advice about our trip. We stayed in a wide variety of places during our 16 days in NZ (many of them very nice), and by far River Birches was the nicest of the lot. Six stars out of five.

Six stars out of five. We cannot find words to express how delighted we were with our stay at Murchison Lodge. Phillip is the consummate host and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was a highlight of our stay in New Zealand. It's the sort of place that just makes you want to settle in and not move. We should add that the homemade breakfast was the best of our 16 days in NZ. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave.

We loved it. It was a small group (28 guests), and we were basically the only boat in the entire sound. The room was small (of course) but comfortable. And the staff were delightful. So much food you can't believe it.

Great for all LOTR fans. But probably the most explicitly commercial, touristy thing we did in NZ.

This was the best thing we did in 16 days in NZ. We have been to commercial luaus in Hawaii before and expected something similar. As if. This was a much smaller crowd and a much more intimate experience. We learned a ton, and the talented performers really gave their all. We both found it very moving. And the food was plentiful, with a great variety on the prix fixe menu. Just delightful.

It looks cooler on paper. The geothermal site is smaller and much less interesting than Orakei Korako, which was well worth the detour in our opinion. The mud bath was just OK, in part because you have to sit out in the cold air while the mud dries on you. It was interesting, but we would probably not do this one again.

The hike was beautiful. It was a little harder than we expected (very hilly), but not too difficult. Our one (small) regret is that we allowed too much time to complete it, so we waited around a long time for our boat. If we did it again, we would have scheduled the earlier boat. As it was, we had an extra hour on a beautiful, sunny beach, so no one should feel sorry for us.

Lots of fun. We scheduled the Level 1 (short) experience due to time constraints, but we would gladly have extended to do the next level if we could have made it work with our schedule. It was totally safe and manageable--not physically challenging or dodgy. We would gladly do this again.

We thought this would be more just a quick, brief touchdown on the glacier. In fact, we spent a couple of hours on the ice. All the gear (including boots, crampons, and rain gear) was provided. Our guide Kate was delightful. Unlike anything was have ever done before. We got a bunch of cool photos.

Really cool. Learned a lot and really enjoyed it besides. They kept the group small so it was just right.

This exceeded our expectations by a mile. The boat trip was lovely (perfect weather). And the food blew us away. We anticipated pretty standard fare, but it turned out to be maybe the largest buffet you'll find just about anywhere. And the food was all great. The herding and shearing demonstration was a fun bonus. It was a perfect way to spend our first evening in NZ following 16 hours of travel to get there.

Capella runs one and two-night cruises. Like most of the guests we came across, we did the single night cruise, and it was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam. Everything is very well organized, from the transfer to the ship, to meals and activities.

Nice, family-friendly hotel in Danang with a good view of the beach on one side and a good city-scape on the other. Breakfast buffet was very good and there is a nice rooftop pool with a bar that makes good coffees and cocktails. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are some other hotels clustered further down the beach, where swimming seems permitted - not sure if it's permanent, but at the time we went, there were "no swimming" signs posted along the strip of beach directly in front of the hotel, so that was a bit of a minus as we had been looking forward to a swim.

Lovely and sprawling hotel in Hoi An -- more like a resort with four swimming pools, two restaurants (Vietnamese and Italian) and a sprawling grounds where you can spend some time. The rooms were nice and the facility is perfect for families, especially with three of the pools being available to children.

Bespoke Trendy may have a goofy name, but they have a great location in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi, just a block away from a good "train street" viewing location. Rooms are nice, the restaurant is good, and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

This is a must-do. It was super-helpful to skip the long immigration lines in Hanoi, especially after the long flight from the U.S. - you are met and essentially waved directly to a person to review passports/visas, as applicable.
