The Dreametech Cordless H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum is a game-changer for cleaning floors. This device replaces your broom, mop, and vacuum. It is a pleasure to push.

We recently replaced the carpet in our house with new floors. Two years ago we ripped out all the carpet downstairs and had ceramic tile installed. Then this year we tore out the carpet on the stairs and upstairs. This time we decided to install vinyl on the floors. The carpet was over 20 years old and it was a pain to keep clean. So my husband and I selected flooring choices that were easier to maintain.

Another reason that we decided to not install carpet was due to all my allergies. While my high-quality air purifier was helping, my asthma symptoms were still present. So not having carpet in the house on the floors made sense as it would help me continue to manage my asthma naturally without prescription medicines. Carpet tends to trap dust and all those allergens, so I was glad to see the carpet being replaced.

Since we replaced the carpet with vinyl floors in the bedrooms, my sleep apnea symptoms have even stopped. I am loving the new floors in my home and the part that I love most is how easy the floors are to keep clean. I no longer have to vacuum or steam clean carpets. My maintenance for my new floors only requires a broom, vacuum, and a mop. My cleaning routine has become easier without having carpet in my house. Even spills are easier to clean up.

Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum Makes Cleaning a Breeze

I loved that I did not have to lug out the big vacuum and plug it in. My routine for cleaning my new floors was using a stick vac followed by a wet mop. A cleaning routine that I thought was simple. That was until I received a wet and dry vacuum that was a huge game-changer in my daily cleaning. The Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum was a more convenient and fun home cleaning experience.

This unique cleaning device vacuums and mops at the same time. So I was able to replace my mop, broom, and vacuum with the  Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum. The Dreametech vacuum was even fun to use. Yes, you heard that right cleaning was fun with this vacuum.

Erases household messes, both wet and dry

 + One pass. All clean.

+ Cleans up wet and dry messes at the same time.

+ Self-cleaning on the roller brush as long as it is on.

+ Automatic mess detection for deep cleaning.

+ Long runtime for cleaning large homes.

Easy to use

The Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum was super simple to put together from the box. My teen simply connected the handle to the vacuum and then install both the clean water tanks and the dirty water tanks. The vacuum came with a charger base so this vacuum was a cord-less vacuum. I liked that the charging base was not bulky. So it fits perfectly in my kitchen.

After the Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum was fully charged, I was ready to have fun cleaning my floors. A push of the button was all it took. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this wet/dry vacuum was to push. It was a self-propelled vacuum that had two different modes of cleaning ~ standard clean and deep cleaning mode. The fully charged vacuum was able to clean all the floors in my house on a single charge. I was also surprised that I did not have to refill the clean water tank.

Deep clean. Up to 2,152ft

No longer need to refill the water tank over and over. The Dreametech H11 comes with a clean water tank of 0.23gal that covers up to 2,152ft² in the lowest water flow mode.

Deep cleans floors

I like clean floors and I usually mop my floors daily. I also enforce the no-shoes in the house rule. So my floors stay clean for the most part. So the first time I used the Dreametech H11 Wet & Dry Vacuum, I was amazed at how dirty the water was in the used water tank. I realized that my old way of cleaning the floors with a mop was just pushing dirty water on my floors. So while my grey floors looked clean, they were not clean.

My downstairs floors are ceramic tile so they have grout lines. The grout on my floors is grey as I selected that color to hide the dirt. The Dreametech H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum sure did show me that my floors did a great job of hiding the dirt. The water in the used water tank was black by the time I was done cleaning the floors.

I decided to clean the floors a couple more times with the Dreametech H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum and the water still was dirty. I was amazed at how well this wet vacuum cleaned my floors. I was even able to vacuum up the sand that was by the front door. This vacuum handles both wet and dry messes. So it made cleaning up all the crumbs in the kitchen a breeze. Next time my son spills milk and cereal, the Dreametech H11 will make clean-up so simple.

Self-cleaning roller brush

Another awesome feature of the Dreametech H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum is the self-cleaning of the roller brush. Once you are done cleaning the floors, you place the vacuum back on the charging base and press the deep-cleaning mode. The deep-cleaning mode thoroughly cleans and drys the brush roll so there is no need to manually wash it. I love that I don't have to touch a dirty roller brush.

This wet and dry vacuum has changed the way that I keep my floors clean. Since the Dreametech H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum has a clean modern look to it, I keep the vacuum in the corner of my kitchen. The charging base keeps the vacuum fully charged so it is ready to use. So that means I am able to clean the daily food crumbs and kitchen messes. My floors have never been this clean.

So the next time my son bakes the best Christmas sugar cookies with way too many sprinkles, he can use the Dreametech H11 Wet and Dry Vacuum to clean up his mess. With cleaning the floors made so simple, I just may let my son do more baking. No longer do I have to dread kitchen messes when I have the power of the Dreametech vacuum.

Clean The Bathroom Mess The Non Toxic Way

Bathrooms don't stand a chance against this non-toxic bathroom disinfectant.

I received samples of Cleanwell products to facilitate this post.

The bathroom is my least favorite room to clean, especially the one upstairs that the boys use. Bathrooms are a place to get clean and take care of bodily functions. Sometimes the bodily functions of boys can be quite messy. No matter how much you teach boys how to aim, pee always ends up around the potty. In a perfect world, boys would sit while they pee but I don't see that happening. I tried to keep my boys in the dark about standing while potty training but all too soon they see an older brother or friend in the bathroom and it is over. So as a mom of four boys, five if you include the husband, your best defense is non-toxic cleaners that kill over 99.9% of the bathroom germs, including cold & flu viruses.

Check out my recipe for a non-toxic weed killer HERE

A safer way to clean

I am glad that the boys have learned how to lift the seat when using the bathroom and they always put it back down afterward. So, for the most part, I never see the mess until cleaning day. My husband is also good at playing pee police and will make the boys clean the toilet seat if he sees a mess. So I like to keep a container of Botanical Disinfecting Wipes in the bathroom so they can wipe up after their messes. Messes will happen. I like that there are non-toxic wipes that my boys can use to wipe down the toilet seat. So what happens in the bathroom stays in the bathroom.

Most household cleaning products are a cocktail of chemicals that can be dangerous to your health. Common ingredients include:

·       Quaternary ammonium – used as an antimicrobial and disinfectant – but toxic to aquatic animals and linked to asthma, skin irritation, birth defects and fertility problems in mice

·       2-butoxyethanol – a solvent linked to sore throats and, at high levels, pulmonary edema, and liver and kidney damage- now listed as a hazardous substance in California

·       Formaldehyde – a known human carcinogen that masquerades under different names such as formalin, methanol, and oxymethylene on product labels

·       Synthetic coloring – linked to skin irritations and ADHD in children

Fight those germs with CleanWell

What happens in the bathroom stays in the bathroom.

I try to deep clean the bathroom one a week. It is my least favorite place to clean but it has to be done. Since my boys are older, they help out with the chores around the house. They help make the messes so they help clean them up. So by using safe non-toxic cleaners, my boys can help with the bathroom chores. I spray and they wipe. Since my favorite cleaner requires no rinsing, we can get the bathroom cleaned in no time. The citrus scent leaves the bathroom smelling nice and clean.

Clean Well is a powerhouse citrus botanical formula that is a kick-butt germ and odor-causing bacteria spray that's perfect for every bathroom surface.

Benefits
Kills 99.9% of germs botanically
Cleans, disinfects, deodorizes
Effectively controls odors
Package is recyclable, including the all-plastic trigger spray
Botanically based formula
No rinsing or wiping required even on food contact surfaces and children's toys

Next room up, the kitchen

My boys know that helping with cleaning chores means more time for fun. My youngest loves to help me in the kitchen and when we cook, we can be quite messy. When we are done baking cookies, I let him drive the 3 in 1 Stick Vacuum and I tackle the counter messes. My son gets the crumbs and I kiss the germs goodbye from all our baking fun. Yes, there can be germs from baking cookies as raw eggs can contain germs. That is why I tell my boys no sampling until the cookies are baked.

How To Get Most Stains Out Of Clothes

Disclaimer: This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Biz Stain Fighter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you look forward to laundry day?

I do not like laundry day. To me, laundry is one of those things that you just have to do. I avoid doing laundry all week and only take care of it once a week. I would rather wash several loads all day then do one load a day. I have quickly learned how to delegate some of the laundry chores to my boys. My teen was the person who always started the washing machine but now that he is at the Merchant Marine Academy, I am stuck with the dreadful chore of starting the wash. I would love to hand over that job to the younger boys, as they already fold the clothes, but they would make a mess pouring the detergent into the machine. The boys would also not pretreat the stains on the clothes.

I think pretreating stains on clothes is the worst part of the laundry. In a perfect world, I would examine every article of clothing and spray them with stain remover but I don't have any desire or time for that. I have better things to do with my time. My family knows the rules
"if you stain it-you take care of it!" Taking care of it means pretreating the stain or telling mom about the stain.

Timing is everything

The best way to get a stain out of clothes is to take care of the stain as soon as possible. So my boys know if they have a bloody nose or get spaghetti sauce on their clothes, they hand me the clothes right away so I can take care of the stain. Take care of stains as soon as possible. Fresh stains are much easier to remove than those over 24 hours old.

Cold water is best

When tackling a stain, always start with cold water especially on stains of unknown origin. Hot water can set protein stains like milk, egg or blood, cooking the protein into the fibers. Hot water works best on oily stains like mayonnaise or butter.

Skip the soap

Soap may cause some stains to set into the fabric. Reach for a powerful stain remover that is good on almost any stain. Different stains require different ingredients to eliminate them. Science shows that there is no one single ingredient that cleans everything well. I reach for Biz Stain Remover for all the stains on my boy's clothes. I love that I can pretreat all laundry stains with one product. Biz is my go-to laundry product. It is also great to add to the whole wash and helps get out those stains that my boys forgot to tell me about- like underwear stains. Again, I have no time or desire to check for stains on clothes

MORE STAIN FIGHTING INGREDIENTS

Biz has all the stain fighting ingredients in one bottle

Soak away those stains

My washing machine has a soak setting and I will use it on almost every load. I just add Biz liquid to my usual detergent and let the clothes soak for a least an hour. That way any stains that my boys forgot to tell me about will come out. When I know that the clothes might have extra stains on them or set in stains, I will add Biz Powder to the wash and let it soak for 2-3 hours. This powerful powder did wonders on my daughters old baby clothes and made them like new for my future granddaughter.

I have been using Biz Stain Removing products for about six months and I like the way they get the stains out of my boy's clothes. I like having one product that removes most stains from their clothes as that saves me time on laundry day. I can't wait until the boys are a bit older and then they can take over doing all the laundry.

What stains are you fighting?

Five Laundry Tips For Busy Moms With Biz

Disclaimer: This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Biz Stain Fighter. All opinions are 100% mine.

                          Do you like laundry day?

I have never really liked laundry day/days and it has always been my least favorite chore. If I had it my way, everyone in the house would just go naked so I would not have to do laundry. Thankfully this mom of five has not resorted to naked kids and has instead learned some things through the years that makes laundry day/days a bit more bearable. These tips may or may not work for work but it is how I do laundry at my house.

Never too young to help with laundry

Tip #1 Enlist help

Start the kids early with laundry chores. I have taught my kids how to help with the laundry and they have their jobs when it comes to having clean clothes in the house. The teen usually starts the wash but the younger boys gather up all the dirty clothes. I am thankful that the teen is a clean freak and usually starts a load of laundry every other day so he can have his favorite pants to wear. The younger two boys do all the folding of the clothes as part of their chores. They have been folding clothes since they were 3 and 4. My oldest daughter who now is married (lives on her own) got tired of folding so she taught the younger boys how to fold clothes. The younger boys also put the clothes away. My youngest boys also know how to start the washing machine and dryer. They just have troubles getting the clothes out of the machine as they are short. When the teen goes off to college, they will be starting the washing machine. I will have to buy smaller bottles of detergent to make it easier for them to pour it into the washer.

Tip #2 Stop Sorting Clothes
For some, this may be a hard tip to follow but for me, I just throw all the clothes in the washing machine. I probably drove my mother-in-law crazy when she watched me do laundry. My mother-in-law, not only separated her clothes by lights and darks but she also washed the white socks separate from the white underwear. I never quite understood why people take all that time to separate the clothes. I wash my clothes in cold water and add Biz Stain Fighter laundry booster along with detergent. My clothes still come out clean looking. BIZ® liquid boosts my laundry detergent and saves me time. Biz is safe to use on all colors!

  • Cleans up to 80% BETTER than detergent alone
  • MORE STAIN FIGHTERS than other brands
  • Fights tough stains BETTER THAN OXI CLEAN guaranteed!
  • Contains a UNIQUE blend of enzymes which quickly dissolves stains and odors
  • Made with BIODEGRADABLE surfactants

Tip #3 Stop Treating Every Stain
This busy mom does not have time to treat every stain on my boy's clothes, nor do I want to. I mean I am not going to touch your underwear when you put the stains on them. I have 4 messy boys and it would take all day to treat the stains on their clothes. I instead tell them if they notice a stain on their clothes, they are to pretreat the item themselves and toss it into the dirty clothes basket. Then on laundry day, I then add Biz Stain Fighter laundry booster to the washing machine. Biz is a color-safe product so I add it to all my loads! This powerful liquid does a great job of getting out those stains. If I notice a stain on my clothes, I will rub some BIZ into it and let it sit for ten minutes and I am amazed that it takes care of the stain. Biz also does a great job on that smelly boy odor as my clothes always smell nice even after I wash them with all those smelly socks!

Tip #4 Fold Once A Week
The laundry may get washed several times a week but it only gets folded and put away once a week. I have lots of laundry baskets and after the clothes get dried I stash the clean clothes behind the couch where nobody sees them. If the boys need something, they just look in the baskets. So find a hiding spot for all the clothes, maybe a closet or the laundry room if yours is bigger than mine. My laundry room is so small and connected to the garage. That means that you can't get to the garage when one is doing laundry.

Tip #5 Let Down Your Standards
With each kid, I have let down my standards with chores. My thinking is I can spend all my day cleaning or take my kids help with less than perfect results. Come on the queen is not visiting my house and if she was then she will have to put up with a little mess. My boys don't do a perfect job of folding but the clothes are put away. If they want to stuff their clothes into their dresser, I am fine with that. I will not allow them to stuff my clothes in my dresser so the boys will place my clean clothes on my bed and I put them away.

I am glad that I have the power of Biz Stain Fighter laundry booster on my side so I can spend my time on other things besides laundry. If you really want to spot treat all those clothes, go ahead, as Biz is a great spot treatment product. For me, I am glad it has lots of stain fighters to fight those tough boy stains. I am thankful for the UNIQUE blend of enzymes in Biz which quickly dissolves stains and odors. I have better things to do with my time! I am glad that I discovered BIZ liquid.

Nugeni Helps Kids With Chores

Kids are never too young for chores!

My younger boys have been doing chores since they were two. Now that they are older, they have many jobs around the house. My teenage son also helps around the house when he is able to but he does his own laundry. The teen is a senior in high school so I want him to focus on his school work and other things that will help him get into college (like all the many scholarship applications.) My thinking about kids and chores is you are a part of the family so you help out. I also do not pay my kids for chores nor give them an allowance. I know that my kids doing chores will help them when they move out on their own.

These are the youngest at 2 and 3 years old

The very first chores that I can remember my youngest doing is folding laundry. My oldest daughter was tired of having to fold clothes so she taught the boys how to fold. I am all for passing the job to someone else as long as it gets done. My boys use to climb into the dryer to get the clothes out.

My boys now are capable of doing many things around the house and have chores like taking out the trash, unloading the dishwasher, folding all the clothes, and putting away the groceries. The youngest is always willing to vacuum but he has a hard time using my big vacuum. So I decided it was time for his own vacuum so he can get all those crumbs off the kitchen floor. He is the one who makes all the crumbs! One would think that by nine that he would stop making messes while he eats but I guess he has to live up to his name Messy Jesse. I joke with that boy that I should have named him Pete (neat Pete.)

I received a Nugeni to facilitate this post.

Jesse was so excited to get his own vacuum and I do really mean that. This is a boy who likes tools and things that make noise. When the Nugeni arrive Jesse had a blast vacuuming all around the house. His brother just could not understand why Jesse was having so much fun. Jesse said, " I love vacuuming!" His new Nugeni VACPAC+ is very lightweight and comes with a bunch of tools so he can vacuum up all the mess in the kitchen. I love that the VACPAC+ is rechargeable so my boy cannot vacuum up the cord or tangle it up around the furniture. This vacuum may be small but it is powerful and has a big storage for all those crumbs. The VACPAC+ can be used as a handheld vacuum and Jesse loves using this to get the crumbs off the kitchen counter. When he wants to get all the crumbs off the floor, he just adds the extension wand and the hard floor tool to the VACPAC+. I think his favorite tool is the crevice tool so he can get all those hard to reach places.

My boy gets very excited when he sees how full the dustbin is. He then empties all his treasure of crumbs into the trash can and plugs the vacuum back into the charger. The VACPAC fits perfectly in the corner of my laundry room so Jesse can access it anytime he makes a mess in the kitchen. The teen also enjoys using this lightweight vacuum as it is so easy to take upstairs to clean up all his hair after he gives himself a haircut. For now, Jesse just uses the Nugeni in the kitchen but I think his next chore will be vacuuming the stairs.

The nugeni VAC+ is a powerful, lightweight and cordless handheld or upright vacuum with our patented 3D Turbine Motor.  Featuring our AllergyAware filter with Dual Layer technology, the nugeni VAC+ helps reduce allergy and asthma triggers for whole house health. Reach inaccessible places high and low with the power of an upright and the ease of a handheld. With the wide range of included accessories, you can customize your cleaning needs for any space.

What Is In Your Rug? You Will Be Amazed What Stays There Even After Cleaning

Dust mites can remain in your carpets even after vacuuming.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is there are some things that are better left to the experts. This infographic from Ahdoot Oriental Rugs made me realize just how important it is to have my rugs professionally cleaned beyond the usual weekly vacuum. It’s amazing how much dust and other allergens can stay in carpets and rugs even after a good cleaning!
