 With everyone home all day, it seems like the kitchen is always messy. No sooner do I clean up the breakfast dishes, someone is fixing themselves a snack. That is a problem with the kids doing online school and the husband working from home, the kitchen is always in use. I have learned to ignore the kitchen mess

 I have learned to ignore the dirty dishes piling up in the sink and the sticky countertops during the day. I used to be bothered by the constant mess in the kitchen, ok it still bothers me, and just clean the kitchen up once a day. I am just thankful that my family puts their dishes in the sink and makes their own meals. I tried teaching my husband how to load the dishwasher but he never puts the dishes in the right place. Sometimes I think my husband loads the dishes wrong just to annoy me. When I move the dishes around in the dishwasher, he does not seem to understand that dishes need to be in a certain direction to get cleaned. Placing a cup upside down will not get clean.

 When my kitchen is clean it makes me happy. A clean kitchen also makes it easier for me to be creative in the kitchen. When my kitchen is clean, I have more room to cook. I don't cook every day but when I do start cooking I cook many dishes. The other day my husband brought home an abundance of tomatoes from the church food pantry. So I made oven-roasted sun-dried tomatoes. I was not sure what to expect as I was hoping that I could sun-dry the tomatoes faster.  My family loves when I mad cook as it means that we have a fridge full of delicious food. It also makes eating meals simpler when everyone is busy with work and school. A safer way to clean

  I am glad that the boys have learned how to lift the seat when using the bathroom and they always put it back down afterward. So, for the most part, I never see the mess until cleaning day. My husband is also good at playing pee police and will make the boys clean the toilet seat if he sees a mess. Next room up, the kitchen

     My boys know that helping with cleaning chores means more time for fun. My youngest loves to help me in the kitchen and when we cook, we can be quite messy.
