Spanish 3 Project Reflection

The student wrote part of the script and acted in a video project for their Spanish 3 class about using por and para in Spanish. They learned that group projects require understanding roles, compromise, and flexibility from all members. While no mentor assisted, the experience helped develop skills for working collaboratively that will benefit the student in college and career environments.

Project-Based Learning Reflection

Class in which you did the project: Spanish 3

Brief project description: Video group project using por y para

Your role for the project:Script writer/actor

What did you do, personally, to contribute to the overall project? Be specific!
I wrote pieces of the script as well as “acted” in the actual video.

What did you learn about yourself in terms of time management, personal responsibility,
problem-solving, collaboration, or other soft skills via this project?
I learned that when working in a group, each person needs to have an understanding of their role,
and everyone must be willing to compromise, and/or pick up slack.

If you had an industry expert or mentor who assisted with this project, what are some things that
you learned from this person?
~~~~~~no one~~~~~~
How has this experience helped prepare you for college or careers beyond high school?
I gained more experience working with a group, which will be valuable going forward and
especially in future college and work environments.
