Feriga
Notes
I wanted to create a pure, homely garment using Moeke Yarns as a symbol of my fondness
for Romania's countryside and traditions.
Feriga is a top-down in the round raglan sweater with texture and colourwork details
inspired by Romanian folklore. Loose and cropped with fitted sleeves, it's a cosy and warm
garment to add to a fall and winter wardrobe. Shaping in the neckline contributes to the
rustic, natural feeling of the sweater. The colourwork chart is simple with no floats to catch
and can be a great first experiment with stranded knitting on a garment. Relaxing
stockinette in the round leads to this statement motif on the bottom to be thrown over a
dress or comfortable pants. The body length remains adjustable for you to create the
sweater you need for these colder months !
