Key Responsibilities: - Assist in sourcing critical contracts aligned with Category Manager & Contracts Manager guidance - Develop demand profile and specify sourcing events - Monitor technical & price evaluation - Help Contract Engineer in supplier selection for major items - Ensure & review purchase order generation - Provide inputs to Contracts Manager in defining procurement strategy for critical service items - Align on timelines and spend planning for assigned items - Shortlist initial supplier options and estimate time/spend - Oversee preparation of contracts plan and execute orders - Coordinate expediting and receive purchase requisitions/expiring contracts list - Prepare & release Request for Quotation/Enquiry to short-listed vendors - Study vendor offers and prepare a comparative statement for vendor selection - Develop internal cost estimates and participate in commercial negotiation meetings - Negotiate & finalize price for items within role's limits - Set up agreements and SLAs with finalized vendors - Implement escalation process and maintain coordination with inbound logistics and commercial departments - Monitor post-award project contract management and supplier feedback mechanism - Review contractor feedback and gather feedback from expediting team, P&C, and supplier - Manage Change Order Process and coordinate supplier information on changes - Assess and monitor emergency situations and related procurement - Manage positive vendor relationships at the working level - Engage with vendors regularly to share organizational requirements and gather feedback - Ensure contractor performance meets end-user needs and suggest improvements to Contract Manager - Uphold ethical values in procurement dealings in line with corporate values - Utilize technology, like SAP system, e-auction, and reverse auction, for efficiency and cost optimization - Provide guidance to Contract Engineer in Critical Contracts Qualifications Required: - B.Tech Necessary + MBA/similar professional qualification (Optional) Experience Required: - 6 to 10 years of experience in the related field - Experience in Construction/Operation/Maintenance in Manufacturing/Exploration sites is an added advantage By following these responsibilities and qualifications, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of sourcing contracts and maintaining positive supplier relationships in this dynamic environment.,
