Band members were John Newsome (vocals), Paul Newsome (vocals & guitar), Paul Schofield (guitar), Scott McLeod (bass) and Eddie Greaves (drums).

Notes :

Bounce The Mouse was late 80's indie rock band from Manchester.

They recorded at Strawberry studios with Joy Division engineer Chris Nagle. Two singles were released ''Will You Ever Say'' and ''Like Lorraine EP''.

They toured extensively doing shows with Pulp, Blur, The Levellers, The Farm,The Family Cat, Carter USM, Wire, Cud, Ocean Colour Scene, Soho, New Fast Automatic Daffodils.

They then due to record company intervention changed their name to Sinister Groove releasing one single ''Perfect Person''.

More obscure and unreleased stuff from early 90's period, this time 7 tracks cassette rip from Manchester indie rock band Ambitious Beggars.
Some of the tracks (Years, Crowned, Here He Comes and my favourite Tamourine) were released in 2001 on Ambitious Beggars singles compilation called ''Beg''.
Rest of the tracks are not released officially anywhere else, two of them ''Tribute'' & ''Empire Strikes Back'' are influenced by madchester sound and shows new direction for the band at that period. Not sure when these tracks are recorded or are they taken from some unreleased single, if anyone have some info to share, please leave comment.

I can't understand how is possible great song like ''Tambourine'' was never officially released as single, it could be easily your new favourite song, lost unreleased classic from early 90's period. Same goes for ''Tribute''. Top stuff.

The Hollow Men were indie band from Leeds, England. The members were David Ashmoore on vocals, Choque on guitar, Howard "Howi" Taylor on bass, Brian E Roberts on guitar and Johnny Cragg on drums. Between 1985 and 1994 The Hollow Men released four albums and several singles. Even though the group hailed from Leeds, the Manchester sound permeated the group's music.
''The Moons A Balloon'' is single taken from ''Cresta'' album, released in 1990 on their own label Evensong.
