Lets Go Fly A Kite

Stopping by today with a layout I did of my grandson Jeff flying his kite.

I used some papers from Simple Stories "100 Days Of Summer" paper line along with some stickers, flair button and wood veneer embellishments.

I loosely based the layout on a scrapbook page I saw on Pinterest by Sara of Sarathings.

Supplies Used: card stock - green; patterned papers - 100 Days of Summer by Simple Stories; washi tape - Pick Your Plumb; stickers - 100 Days of Summer by Simple Stories; label stickers - Stella And Rose by My Minds Eye; two sided element - Authentique; Serenade Thickers by American Crafts; flair button - Paper Play Studios; wood veneer - Studio Calico

Merci

I have to admit that I pretty much, totally, "cased" this card from one of my magazines. It was absolutely to adorable to tweak it very much.

The fence and the rooster were both cut using Silhouette Studio cut files. I used Freebooter Script font to print my sentiment. The background is stamped with a chicken wire stamp and white ink by Hampton Art. I had the cute little button in my stash.

Supplies used: card stock - recycled white, black; patterned paper - Executive in Take Note by Studio Calico; stamp - my stash; ink - White in ala mode by Hampton Art; Silhouette Studio cut files; ribbon - Michaels; button - my stash; font - Freebooter Script; Pop Dots.

Sassy 21st Birthday

I can hardly believe it and it makes me feel old but my baby sisters daughter, my goddaughter, just turned 21!!!! You know what they say, time flies when your having fun :)

I'd like to share the card I made for her.

I stitched a couple lines on the bottom of my kraft card stock to give the illusion of a floor. I used some wonderful number dies I just rec'd from Paper Smooches to cut out the #21.

I wanted to make it a shaker card, so I covered the back side of the punched out 21 with a piece of transparency. Then framed it, very close to the numbers, with foam tape and poured in some seed beads. I then attached  a green card stock base to it.

My sassy little gal with the sunglasses was cut on my Cameo with a Silhouette Studio cut file.

Some alphabet stickers and a rub on complete the title.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft, green, yellow, peach, red, brown; patterned paper - Crawford in Darling Dear by Studio Calico; vellum; transparency - Staples; Silhouette Studio cut file; alphabet stickers - SEI; rub on - EK Success; foam tape - Staples; seed beads - Mill Hill; number dies - Paper Smooches; sewing machine.

Herd It's Your Birthday

I just love a play on words! It's so fun making cards that have a twist. I think there seriously needs to be a book out with all the puns and plays on words in it to use as a reference. I would have so much fun using it :)

Here is a little birthday card I made using a little play on words and a couple of my Cricut cartridges.
I designed the sentiment in my Print Shop program. A cute little wood veneer cow really adds to the scene.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft, vanilla, green, red, 2 shades of tan, brown, black; patterned paper - BoBunny; wood veneer - Studio Calico; Country Life and Elegant Edges Cricut cartridges; fonts - Signboard and Great Vibes; Pop Dots.

Definition Happy Birthday

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentines Day!

I made dinner for my hubby, my daughter and her husband, and my grandchildren. We had a wonderful time. I made a yummy strawberry cake, we had cherry sodas and I made them all little favors which I filled with their favorite candies.

Before the evening ended I wanted to sneak this card in for the challenge over at Dynamic Duos!

And I wanted to share it at 52 Card Pick Up!
