Just Because

I have a little tag to share today, that I made for the Itty Bitty A Day challenge going on over at the Unity Show and Tell page on Facebook.

There have been so many beautiful creations by everyone in the group using Itty Bitty stamps by Unity.

For my little tag I used two Itty Bitty sets, "Sweet Owl Just Because" for the sentiment and "Best Things Just Happen" for the pretty flower.

I stamped the flower on a vintage dictionary page and colored it with my Copics. I also stamped it on blending paper so I could color and fussy cut out the flower only. I then attached it with a Pop Dot for dimension.

Supplies used: tag - Staples Office Supply; card stock - kraft, vanilla; vintage dictionary page - Thrift Store; border punch - Fiskars; stamps - Unity; Copic markers; ink - Rich Cocoa by Memento;  ribbon - 3 Girl Jam; twine - Liz's Paper Loft Boutique; button - my stash

Rudolph Tags

I'm back again with more tags!

I hope I'm not boring you with all of these, but I had so much fun creating them and also enjoyed stepping away from card making for a bit.

Rudolph is my Christmas Favorite, I guess it's all those childhood memories that movie conjures up!!!!
So.... I had to make some tags with him as the focal point.

I used a stamp from Crayon Christmas by Stampin' Up (I'm getting great use of this set Cathy!!!!) and popped a red pearl on for his nose. For the snow I free cut some vellum and added Icicle Stickles to it.

Supplies used: card stock - brown; patterned paper from Blitzen by Basic Grey; Vellum; tag template - Colluzzle; Icicle Stickles; snowflake eyelet - Eye-Lets Etc.; Crop-A-Dile; pearl - Kaiser Craft; twine - Trendy Twine; rudolph stamp - Crayon Christmas, sentiment - Holiday Sampler both by Stampin' Up; ink - Tuxedo Black by Memento; Pop Dots.

Christmas Tags

Happy Tuesday all!!!!

I'm back today with some more tags.

There are so many wonderful cut files at Silhouette Studio that I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go there. For todays tags I decided to take some of their darling files and make them the focus of my tags.

Just a little pretty paper from Authentique and a few pearls and I have some more lovely tags.

Supplies used: tags - Staples; card stock green, 2 shades of red; patterned paper - Surprise from Wonder Collection by Authentique; border punches - Fiskars and Martha Stewart; brad - American crafts; pearls - Kaiser Craft; Silhouette Studio cut files.

Pink Tags For LUFP

For Saturday's lyrics how about a little Chicago:

Saturday in the park
I think it was the Fourth of July
Saturday in the park
I think it was the Fourth of July
People talking, people laughing
A man selling ice cream
Singing Italian songs
Can you dig it (yes, I can)
And I've been waiting such a long time
For Saturday

For today I'd like to share some "pink" Christmas tags I created for Link Up For Pink.

I chose to use the same patterned paper, but come up with three totally different tags.

For the large snowflake tag, I traced the tag on the patterned paper, cut it out and then cut it at an angle. After attaching it to the tag I zig zag stitched with my sewing machine. Then just glued my large, glittery snowflake towards the bottom.

For the next tag I again traced the tag on to the patterned paper and cut it to fit the top portion of the tag.  I chose some card stock to match the dark pink in the pattern paper, cut a small strip of it, border punched it, attached it under the patterned paper then stitched across the top with my sewing machine and embellished it with a few pearls. I stitched around the bottom of the tag, punched a heart in one corner and attached a snowflake sticker in the other.

For the last tag I put the bottom of my tag, centered in my border punch, and just punched one time so that it would stay intact. Then I took a small piece of the patterned paper and border punched it, glued it above the punched out portion of the tag and zig zag stitched across it. I used Stickles to put some random snow flakes on the tag. I cut a tree out with the reverse side of the patterned paper, attached it to the tag with Pop Dots and topped it with a snowflake sticker.

Supplies used: tags - Staples; patterned paper - Silly Chilly in Jolly By Golly by Cosmo Cricket; large snowflake - Scrapbook Studios; card stock - dark pink; pearls - Kaiser craft; border punch - EK Success; small heart punch - my stash; snowflake sticker - Sandylion Essentials; Diamond Stickles; border punch - Fiskars; small snowflake sticker - Sandylion Essentials; Pop Dots; sewing machine.

Snowman Tags

The Chorus from Thursdays Child by David Bowie:

Throw me tomorrow
Now that I've really got a chance
Throw me tomorrow
Everything's falling into place
Throw me tomorrow
Seeing my past to let it go
Throw me tomorrow
Only for you I don't regret
That I was Thursday's child

For todays post I am sharing some tags I made using some stamps I was given by my Sis, Thank You Cathy!

I struck gold!!!! She bought over $300 of stamps and ink pads 8 years ago or more and she has NEVER used them!!! And..... guess what? At Thanksgiving she gave the whole box to me!!!!!!
Talk about an early Christmas gift, I am in heaven! Anyway these tags are made with the snowman from Crayon Christmas. Isn't he cute?

OK..... I had to search on google to find a Wednesday song!

Wednesday morning was the last time we talked
I guess she figured it was better if she walked
It could've been me just the same
There's no winner in this game
Oh, Wednesday morning was the last time we talked

Little known song by America called Wednesday Morning.

Now on to todays project.

I was making quite a few tags this last weekend and here are some I made with a little Holly Leaf stamp from Warm Hearts by Paper Smooches.

Boy, it's raining like cats and dogs here today!!!!

Can't believe how much it has poured the last couple of days!! But.... I guess it's a good excuse to spend time in the craft room, hehehe!!!!!

I'd like to share some tags I made for the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays!

This weeks challenge:

For my tags I started out with some kraft card stock and I used my old fashioned Coluzzle and tag template to cut them out! Remember  those ladies?

I embellished the tags with some Washi tape I recently bought at Michaels and then added some stitched trees using a Bazzill In-Stitchez template. I like the way the stitched trees mimic the frees in the Washi tape.

I stamped my sentiment on top of the Washi tape, but it came out very light so I went over it with a Extra Fine Point Sharpie.

Supplies used: card stock - kraft; Washi tape by Recollections; In-Stitchez template by Bazzill; floss - DMC #304; stamp from Warm Hearts by paper Smooches; ink - Tuxedo Black by Momento; Extra Fine Black Sharpie; eyelet - my stash; Crop-A-Dile; twine - Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Christmas Tags/12 Days of Christmas

Well, today is day nine in the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. I'm actually having fun coming up with something everyday. If you just popped in to see me you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop with Sylvia at Bella Scrapbook Designs. If you arrived here from my friend Gaby's blog - Gaby Creates you are on the right track.
Here is the full line up if you get lost:

For todays post I have some simple little 3D tags you can make. The snowman is a silhouette file cut, the tree is cut from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge and the ornament is just done with a circle punch. You simply cut or punch two of each design. One is glued on flat and the other is scored down the middle and glued along the score line.

Supplies used: cardstock - kraft, brown, black, white, green; patterned paper from Glitzmas by SEI; stamps - Studio G; ink - Jet Black by Archival Ink; twine - my stash; ScorPal scoreboard

I will have a blog prize at the end of this 12 Days of Christmas blog hop. All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is to be a follower and to leave a comment. If you leave a comment on each day you will be entered in the drawing one time for each comment, so you can have up to 12 entries in the drawing.

Now you are off to see what Monica at Simply Cricutting has created!!!!
