Inspiration

Back in september 2014, while looking for a new project I spotted this tweaked first gen GSXR 750 on a well-known classified site.

Random from the archive

Abstract:
The first generation GSX-R. Picture was taken back in 2003 at the Paris bike show. That specific bike is out of Suzuki's collection and was in stunning condition. Suzuki had reunited the whole GSX-R family to present the new addition which can be seen just behind. This was long before the '84 model become desirable again by collectors and retro-racers - first generation GSX-Rs were about to be allowed to race in classic races.

Caiman show part 2

How time's fleeing sometimes ... I remember promising to post the second part of my picture coverage of the last Caiman show in Croix like it was yesterday. But it's been more than a month now and it's not online yet. Hopefully, there are still some highly motivated guys that will always remind me to post pictures. So here they are :

The last two ones are a great opportunity to push my own special reminder to a friend. Yvan do you remember you're having a KR1S rusting in your garage ? Don't waste too much time in your home's improvement ... and go back to a real project !! :D
Having said that, I may add a little more pressure by expecting you're getting close to this result with your bike ;)

It smells oil and it's a bit rusty but ...

... damn how good it is. Back in mid september I went to the Croix-en-ternois circuit to attend to the anual CAIMAN meeting with a mate of mine. It's nothing far from a conventional trackday but one only sees old riders on sometimes even older bikes. The bike range was great as it's always nice to see all of these old motorcycles in one place. And for once in Croix, the weather was sunny-not-windy, which is rather rare down there.

Here are a couple of pics from the event (this is only part 1). Enjoy !
