Pianos recorded at Raphaël Terlinden's home studio, Brussels, Belgium.
Mixed and mastered by Udi Koomran and Pierre Chevalier, at the Pergola, Holon, Israel.

Description/Reviews:
Present's music is a striking blend of heavy rock with classical and zeuhl influences. The compositions, all penned by Trigaux, utilize repetition, complex counterpoint, intricate interplay between the instruments, rapidly shifting time signatures, and a strong instrumental attack. The final result is blindingly precise works of syncopated instruments, all seemingly coming from different angles but ultimately working together as a cohesive whole.

Description/Review
Like label mates The Ocean, they straddle the lines of post-metal and prog, avoiding the techy side of things and featuring more folk and cinematic elements than before this time around. ... Psychonaut has crafted eight songs that each stand up on their own. I can start the album at any point and instantly become lost in the brutal yet brilliantly uplifting sound of the band, capturing their messages of hope, soaking in the massive energy of the band, and funneling that into my own reality.

Description/Reviews:
The band has an unconventional sound.  The bio that came with the promo describes them as progressive rock with classic prog elements and a post-modernist bent.  The latter is definitely true, but the band plays something I can’t describe that well.  It is “progressive” in the true meaning of the word, being ambitious, maybe a little odd, and maybe even a little scary.  There are crazy rhythms and atmospheres all over the place, and it can take a few listens to process what they play.

Description/Reviews:
Taking notes from the best moments in contemporary progressive and post metal, HIPPOTRAKTOR capture the awe-inspiring power of nature—from the delicacy of the first falling leaf to the massive cosmic energy of the sun. By combining the big, catchy riffs and the rhythmical prowess of Gojira with the relentless but equally groove-loaded complexity of Meshuggah, Meridian delivers an overwhelming experience of sound, presenting the listener with sentiments that are recognisable, but with an intensity that seems larger-than-life.

Description/Reviews
Drawing again from the multiple sources which have always inspired the band (from electronic music and pop to experimentation, jazz, minimalism, contemporary classical etc), Aksak Maboul transcends and reconfigures them with its inimitable style, to create an impressive, rich and unclassifiable piece of work.
Seamlessly weaving electronic and acoustic instrumentation, improvisation and programming, songs, beats, found objects and sound collages, the album works as a labyrinth, full of secret passages and interconnections. Figures clocks in at 75 minutes, thus deliberately shunning the laws of instant gratification and the myth of today’s reduced attention span: the Aksak Maboul aficionados will surely be happy to engage in an immersive session of deep listening (in two halves), in order to enjoy the album’s many layers and details.

Guy Commeene - Lead guitars
Wouter Nottebaert - Bass & Backings
Wouter Debonnet - Drums

Description/Reviews
Although guitarist Stefan Seegers contributes a fair bit of deathly grunting throughout the album, the band’s outlook is generally on the melodic side; Second track This House manages to combine muscle and melody quite nicely, with all three guitarists playing with sufficient restraint in the service of the song. Things might get a little ‘over beefy’, if you follow my drift, with eighteen strings ploughing away at the same time, but never do you walk away from a song feeling battered by overkill. And that’s a good sign.

Arno Cottyn - drums

Description/Reviews
Lantern of Gius is Grotto’s third LP and debut for Stickman Records. Comprised solely of two epic songs – one per side – it is a musical journey few other bands could recount solely in instrumental fashion. Guitarist Marvin Dinneweth’s iconic guitar work uses spacious, open guitar chords as opposed to chunky stoner riffs for the foundation of the music, allowing bassist Jeroen Moerman and drummer Arno Cottyn to carry the undercurrent of the musical stream. Moving between passages of introspective post rock and full-on distorted riffing, Lantern of Gius is the band’s most varied and mature effort yet that will resonate with listeners from all across the spectrum of rock music and beyond.
