Coronet Cabernet Sauvignon is the newest addition to the Arrow&Branch Winery portfolio.
The new DTC brand needed to fit in with the look and feel of the Arrow&Branch wines yet stand strong as an independent brand. The Arrow&Branch name and label designs pay homage to the Contursi Family’s leadership in the United States rare coin business and to our American heritage.
Inspired by the imagery and iconography found on rare U.S. coinage, we drew a custom crown as the main visual expression of the brand name Coronet, meaning crown, and the vineyard that provides the fruit for their reserve wines, Lady Liberty Vineyard. The crown features a torch as the centerpiece, a nod to the Statue of Liberty, and is comprised of rays that echo the design on the Arrow&Branch label. The crown is foiled in gold with a sculpted emboss and a gray overprint to give it the aged metal appearance of historic coins.
The Coronet reserve tier features a code system to identify the vineyard and vintage date, akin to a serial number system on money.
