Woof!
I'm here! It's been awhile, I know.
My computer died and I had some other house issues going on. And the holidays. Stress.
But I think my little hiatus was good for me. It made me miss my beloved hobby. I've got some Copic refills on the way (had to beat the price hike) and soon my markers will be juicy. That's been somewhat of a problem as of late.
I'm starting out the new year right though. Coloring and posting.
Today is a Tiddly Tuesday! Talk about starting out the year right! Thank goodness the challenge is "Anything Goes" because I still don't have a computer and access to my digital images. This image comes from the Everyday Fun with Friends coloring book from Tiddly Inks. I had printed it prior to my computer dying onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and did a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils. The "woof" die cut is from Recollections.
Sure hope you join us at Tiddly Inks this month for our Anything Goes challenge. If I can do it, you can too.
Here's wishing you a crafty 2019! I'm wishing one for myself too!

Genius
September is here. Time for another challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. This month it is all about the boys.
For my card, I printed the sweet digital image of "Genius" from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with Copic markers, tried a new wonky die from Gina Marie Designs and mounted to a gray card panel.
Felt good to take a few moments to color. The start of the school year has consumed me. Yay for the three day weekend that just passed. I got to breathe a bit.
Take a few moments this month to join us, won't you? All of the details for the challenge are on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

The Ball Drop
I know it seems a bit early for this, but I had this idea a few weeks ago and wanted to see if could make a card to match my idea. I succeeded.
You can read all about this card on my last post for A Jillian Vance Design on the AJVD blog.

Light Up My Life
It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday! This time around we are being challenged to created a Clean and Simple card. That seems to be all I do, lol.
For my card, I used the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light Up My Life. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. The glow from the fireflies was colored with Distress Oxide. Using a circle die, I drew the circle that is acting as the sky. I also drew the little dots around the circle. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design.
Sure hope you join us this month for the Clean and Simple challenge. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for all of the details.
I think the real challenge is how to keep our lives clean and simple, lol. There's always something.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!

A Fringe Flower Hello
Every now and then, I make a card I actually like. This is one of them.
I'm not sure why I waited an eternity to play with the A Jillian Vance Design Fringe Flower Die Set like I did. This card came together quickly. The coloring method is sponging Distress Inks onto scrap pieces of white cardstock and simply die-cutting.

Light My Life
It's July's Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks!
For my contribution, I made this card using the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light My Life. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I then added the wave border along the bottom of the card cut with a Memory Box die. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and is from A Jillian Vance Design.
Make sure you check out the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to see some beautiful Tiddly cards and projects.
Have a great weekend!

Graduation Corgi
Not many people need a graduation card with a corgi on it. But when your best customer needs such a card, you make it.
The corgi is a digital image from Some Odd Girl. The graduation hat is from Avery Elle. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps. X-Press It cardstock was used, along with Copic markers.
Later in the week, I'll be back for Fab Friday with Tiddly Inks. Thanks for visiting my blog today.

WELCOME to Unicorn Street!
It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. The theme this month is Anything Goes, so you really have no excuse to not particpate.
This card features a digital image from the Tiddly Inks set Lovely YOUNicone and Unicorn. I printed the unicorn onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the unicorn with Copic markers. The letters are from a Penny Black alphabet stamp set and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. The "welcome" sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design and was also stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. I added a strip of washi tape near the bottom and a few white sequins to complete the card.
At first glance, this card might not make any sense. The reason behind the card doesn't make any sense either, but it is a real situation that angers me. A co-worker of mine, in order for her family to remain together, had to seek residence in Canada. The new administration terminated the immigration program that allowed her husband to live and work in the US, and he was ordered removed. He had been working in this country for several years. The reason there is a unicorn on the card is because she is moving to a street called Unicorn Street.
Canada, you're awesome. The US right now, not so much.

Leaves as Trees
I love stretching my supplies and using them in unexpected ways. Here you will see a leaf image acting as trees in a distance. They were colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sun was sponged with SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink (yes, I still have that brand...this is my favorite yellow). The hill was drawn with a Micron pen.
You can read all about this card today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.
Thanks for dropping by this blog. Have a pleasant week.

Fishing Expert
It's time for another Tiddy Tuesday. We have a color challenge for the month. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details and join in on the fun.
My card features the adorable digital image Wryn Fishing Expert. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and Nuvo Glitter Drops to the fish (I couldn't decide which to use so I used both, lol). The sentiment is from a set from Taylored Expressions and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. Can't have enough birthday cards, right?
Don't forget to head on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. You'll see there are a couple of very talented guest designers playing in all the fun.

Bloom
This past weekend I made it into my stamp room to color this beautiful bouquet image from A Jillian Vance Design. It is from the stamp set Bloom. What fun I had with my Copic markers on this one. The sentiment was made from the Thanks DIEalogue Word Die, also from A Jillian Vance Design.
You can read all about this card on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.
Have a beautiful week. Back again tomorrow with another post. I guess you can say it was a productive weekend in the stamp room.

Wheeeeeee!
They say it's a Fab Friday. It sure better be a Friday, lol. What a week.
For my Tiddly Inks creation, I went straight to the Tiddly Inks digital coloring book Everyday Fun with Friends. This image is one of the pages. I simply printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
Head on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog. There happens to be some beautiful Tiddly creations over there this Fab Friday. You don't want to miss them!

Beautiful Mother's Day
Good thing I made this card *last* weekend, because this weekend I fell off my front step and broke my foot. Not in the cardmaking mood...probably because the stamp room is upstairs and I'm spending a lot of time downstairs.
You can read all about this card on the A Jillian Vance Design blog today.

Happy Birthday, Succa!
I squealed when Crissy Croll drew a cactus for Tiddly Inks because you know how much I love them. In fact, she drew a bunch of cacti in this digital image set Cute Cactus.
It's a Tiddly Tuesday on this first day of May. The challenge for this month is to create a Tiddly Inks project with Florals or Plants. You can read all about the challenge and see some BEAUTIFUL creations on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.
For my card, I used one cactus from Cute Cactus. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment cracks me up. It is from A Jillian Vance Design and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
A strip of pattern paper from an unknown source is along the side of the card panel.
Don't be a succa! Join us at Tiddly Inks this month for all of the fun!

Tiddly Inks Spring Is Here Blog Hop
What a lovely day for a blog hop! Tiddly Inks is celebrating the arrival of spring. About one day a week it actually feels like spring around here, lol. Maybe all of these beautiful flowers will make things better.
This card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Wryn Blooms. It is an older Tiddly Inks image but I've had my eye on it for quite some time just waiting on the right time to use it. I think a spring blog hop is the perfect occasion.
To make this card, I printed the adorable Wryn Blooms onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. I added a bit of sparkle to the flower centers with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and is from Hampton Arts. I added a small sequin below the sentiment for a little interest and balance. The card base that shows along the side is dry embossed light blue cardstock.
I'm set for Mother's Day with this card.
And don't forget, you are set for all occasions with Tiddly Inks.
You will want to see all of the GORGEOUS spring creations on this blog hop. You can find your way by following this link.

SLOOPY!
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS! SLOOPY....MY SLOOPY....INSPIRED THIS DIGITAL STAMP FROM TIDDLY INKS!
Be still my heart! The fabulous Christy Croll made my dreams come true with this new Tiddly Inks image Puppilicous Dachshund. A few months ago she asked the Tiddly Inks Design Team for image ideas. I begged her for a dachshund, and this was the result. She said it was modeled after Sloopy. I'm in love.
Thanks you so much Christy!
To make this card, I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from a stamp set made especially for Creative Chaos in Circleville called Buzzwords from Scraps Of Love. I framed the image with scarlet cardstock and added a scarlet heart.
Tiddly Inks has so much wonderful, heartfelt images. Go see....today's Fab Friday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.
