Nirvana - 1992 - In Bloom FLAC
"In Bloom" is a song by American rock band Nirvana. Written by frontman Kurt Cobain, the song addresses people outside the underground music community who did not understand the band's message.
Nirvana made its first music video for an early version of "In Bloom" in 1990; however the song did not appear on a commercial release until the release of the group's second album, Nevermind, in 1991. "In Bloom" became the fourth and final single from the album in late 1992. While Nirvana's label DGC Records did not release a physical single for sale in the United States, "In Bloom" received much American radio airplay, reaching number 5 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The international release of the single made the Top 10 in Ireland and Portugal. It also made the Top 20 in Finland and New Zealand and the Top 30 in Sweden and the United Kingdom but only managed #73 in Australia. It was accompanied by a new music video which won Best Alternative Video at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards.

Nirvana - 1993 - Heart Shaped Box FLAC
"Heart-Shaped Box" is a song by American rock band Nirvana, written by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It was released as the first single from Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero, in 1993, and appears as the third track. It was one of two songs from the album mixed by Scott Litt to augment the original production by producer Steve Albini.
Though Nirvana's record company DGC Records did not release a physical single in the United States, fearing it might damage album sales, "Heart-Shaped Box" received much American radio airplay, reaching number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The single made the top 10 in several countries, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland and New Zealand, and the top 40 in numerous other countries including Australia at #21. The music video, directed by Anton Corbijn, garnered critical plaudits, and won two awards, including Best Alternative Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1994. "Heart-Shaped Box" was the last song Cobain performed live with Nirvana, on March 1, 1994 in Munich, Germany.

Nirvana - 1992 - Come as You Are FLAC
"Come as You Are" is a song by American grunge band Nirvana, written by frontman Kurt Cobain. It is the third track and the second single from the band's second studio album Nevermind, released in March 1992. It was the band's second and, to date, last American top 40 hit, and second UK top 10 hit, reaching number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number nine on the UK Singles Chart.
The unexpected success of the album's lead single, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" drew Nirvana to mainstream success, with Nevermind being released two weeks after the single's release. Following the album's release, the band and its management company debated whether to release "Come as You Are" or "In Bloom" as the next single from the album due to Cobain's concerns over similarity of the former with the Killing Joke song "Eighties" (1984). After some persuasion by the management company, Cobain agreed to release "Come as You Are" as the second single because of its commercial potential. Killing Joke were upset over the song, and there were rumors that a lawsuit had been filed over the song, though the suit never materialized. Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker was said to be upset about the whole situation, and he felt that Nirvana (which according to Walker denied the connection between the songs) handled the matter poorly.
