Various Artists - 1991 - Love Can Build A Bridge FLAC





"Love Can Build a Bridge" is a song written by Naomi Judd, Paul Overstreet and John Barlow Jarvis, and recorded by American country music duo The Judds. It was released in December 1990 as the second single and title track from their album of the same name. It was a Top 5 country hit in mid-1991.

It was later covered by Children for Rwanda as a charity single in aid of Save the Children, reaching number 57 in the UK singles chart in September 1994. A new version recorded by American singers Cher and Chrissie Hynde, Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, and British singer/guitarist Eric Clapton, with arrangements by David Campbell, was released and reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart for one week in March 1995. The single was Cher's and Chrissie Hynde's second solo UK number 1 hit single and the only UK number 1 single for either Neneh Cherry or Eric Clapton. It was chosen as 1995's official Comic Relief single.

"Believe" is a song recorded by American singer-actress Cher. It is the title track from her twenty-second album of the same name (1998), and was released as the lead single from the album on October 19, 1998 by Warner Bros. Records.  Commercially, the song attained immense global success, reaching number one in almost every country it charted, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the United States. It earned Cher a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest female solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also became the highest-selling single by a solo female artist in the United Kingdom. "Believe" remains one of the best-selling singles of all time with sales of over 11 million copies worldwide.

"Strong Enough" is a song by American recording artist Cher from her twenty-second studio album Believe (1998). The song was released as the second single from the album. It was released on February 19, 1999 by Warner Bros, and WEA. The song's composition and musical style is strongly reminiscent of 1970s disco music. The song received positive reviews from music critics, many calling it a highlight to Believe. The song had less success in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number fifty-seven, but did top the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play charts. It also went to number one in Hungary and into top ten in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, New Zealand, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and the UK and just pout of the top ten in Australia at #11.
