INXS - 1988 - Devil Inside FLAC


 "Devil Inside" is a song by Australian band INXS. The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence and is one of INXS's best known songs.It was released as a single in February 1988. The song was most successful in the US, going to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. "Devil Inside" then went on to peak at #47 in the United Kingdom, #20 in France, #25 in Ireland, #6 in Australia and #3 in Canada.

INXS - 1991 - Shining Star FLAC


 

 "Shining Star" is a song by Australian popular rock band INXS and was the only single issued from the band's live album, Live Baby Live, released in November 1991. It is the one new studio track recorded for the album and it peaked at No. 21 on the ARIA Singles Chart, No. 27 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the group's ninth Top 40 single. In the United States, it peaked at No. 4 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 14 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, but did not appear on the Billboard Hot 100.

INXS - 1997 - Elegantly Wasted FLAC


 

 "Elegantly Wasted" is the title track and first single released from the album Elegantly Wasted by Australian band INXS, released in Europe, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Canada and the United States. The song is said to have been written after Michael Hutchence and Bono from U2 went out for a "night on the town".

Released as a single on 10 March 1997, the song became the band's fourth and final number-one single in Canada, topping the RPM Top Singles chart for three weeks in May and June 1997. In the United States, the song did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 due to rules in place at the time regarding commercial releases, but it did reach number 27 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart. The song also peaked at number 48 in the band's native Australia and reached the top 40 in Iceland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

 "Suicide Blonde" is the first single from the INXS album X. It reached number two in Australia, number nine in the United States, and number 11 in the United Kingdom. In Canada and New Zealand, the single peaked at number one for two and three weeks, respectively. At the APRA Music Awards of 1991, "Suicide Blonde" won the award Most Performed Australian Work Overseas.

"Bitter Tears" is a single by INXS, the third Australian and fourth UK single taken from their album X. It peaked at #30 on the UK Singles Chart  in Australia it made it to #36. The single was released to coincide with the band headlining the SummerXS concert at Wembley Stadium in July 1991, as documented in the Live Baby Live DVD. The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence as part of the sessions for the X album.

When Ray Charles arrived to sing his part, Hutchence was there in the studio to teach him how to produce the Hutchencesque vocal style. "Mr. Charles," Michael respectfully addressed him, "... it (the melody) goes like this ... (Michael sings the line and Ray Charles attempts to imitate it). After many attempts Charles says, "Sir (Michael), I know I will eventually get it right" ... and of course he did.

"Everything" is the second single from the album Elegantly Wasted by INXS. It was released only in Mexico, Europe and Australia. The song was written by Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss and recorded by the band in Dublin during the summer of 1996. Very sad showing in Australia #159 while in the UK it did a bit better #71.

INXS - 1990 - Disappear FLAC


 

 "Disappear" is a song by Australian rock band INXS, the second single taken from their album X. The song was written by Jon Farriss and Michael Hutchence while they were living together in Hong Kong in 1989.

"Disappear" peaked at number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100 in February 1991, becoming the band's seventh and final top-ten single. In Canada, the song reached number one for two weeks. It was a lesser hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 21 in December 1990. At the APRA Music Awards of 1992 the song won Most Performed Australian Work Overseas. Thanks to Stacky.

INXS - 2003 - I Get Up FLAC





 "I Get Up" was a single that was released in 2003 by Australian band INXS. The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Jon Stevens. It was the first new material by INXS since their former frontman Michael Hutchence committed suicide on 22 November 1997. The lead singer on "I Get Up" is former Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens. It is the only studio recorded material by INXS with Stevens singing. Stevens resigned from INXS by the end of 2003 because of "differing views" about the bands' future. "I Get Up" was used as one of the tracks on the EA Sports Rugby series Rugby 2004.

 The song was written by Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss of the group INXS, after the band had gotten back together after a year-long sabbatical in 1989. The track was released in September 1990 throughout the world. In the US, the track reached a peak of #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped both the modern rock and mainstream rock charts. A dance remix of the track received wide airplay on US top 40 stations, reaching the top 10 of the dance chart. In the UK, the track reached a peak of #11 while it reached #2 in their homeland of Australia1 and #1 in Canada.
