Divinyls - 1991 - I'm On Your Side FLAC





"I'm on Your Side" is a ballad performed by Australian rock duo Divinyls. It was released as the fourth and final single from their successful self titled album, Divinyls (1991). "I'm on Your Side" is notable for being one of only a few Divinyls songs not written by Christina Amphlett and Mark McEntee. Instead it was written by famed songwriting duo Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly, who had both co-written Divinyls smash hit "I Touch Myself". "I'm on Your Side" peaked at number ninety-two on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart.

Divinyls - 1995 - I'm Jealous FLAC





 "I'm Jealous" is a song by Australian rock duo Divinyls, released in 1995 as the lead single from their fifth studio album Underworld. The song enjoyed success in Australia where it made the top twenty, peaking at number fourteen and spending nineteen weeks in the top fifty. In addition, the single was certified gold and ranked in as the sixty-fourth best selling single of 1995

Divinyls - 1996 - Human on the Inside FLAC UPGRADE 12.02.18




"Human On the Inside" is a song originally recorded by Australian rock duo Divinyls, released in 1996 as the fourth single from their fifth studio album Underworld. A minor hit in Australia in 1996 #59, the song became better known after it was covered by The Pretenders in 1999 under the title "Human". In this version, the song became a 1999 chart hit in the UK, New Zealand and the US.

Divinyls - 2007 - Don't Wanna Do This FLAC




"Don't Wanna Do This" is a song by Australian rock duo Divinyls. It was released in 2007 as their comeback single after an eleven-year-long hiatus, during which they unofficially disbanded. "Don't Wanna Do This" was written by Amphlett and former Rogue Traders drummer Cameron McGlinchey. The B-side single "Asphyxiated" was written by Mark McEntee and conveyed a darker sound than what Divinyls had been known for.

Divinyls - 2007 - All Pretty Things




  "All Pretty Things", released on a compilation album for the Homebake Festival. Amphlett stated that the band would return to the studio to record a full album provided they "survived" their Homebake headline gig and national tour.

Now this post is special! It has been ripped from the CD Master. Yep - I'm not joking. Found both the Master and Reference CD at the market last weekend and got 'em for $1 a piece. They have the Studio 301 logos embosed on the CD and covers and include Recording Documentation (scans included here) with Clover Systems logos included.
Not sure how the store holder got hold of em' (he didn't have a clue what they were) but as soon as I saw them, my eye's lit up like Christmas Tree Lights. Only one track included, this is the last track the Divinyls ever released. Notes by AussieRock with thanks for the rip.

Divinyls - 1992 - I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore FLAC




 In late 1992, Australian rock duo Divinyls covered the song for the soundtrack to the film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was also issued as the lead single from their second compilation album, The Collection. The single went to the top twenty in Australia (peaking at number nineteen), and spent sixteen weeks in the top fifty.

On 29 November 1993, Australian rock group Divinyls recorded a version for the Super Mario Bros. film soundtrack it did not chart. The song also appeared on their compilation albums The Collection in 1994 and Make You Happy in 1997.

In the early 1990s the Divinyls recorded a series of cover songs for various movie soundtracks, including the Young Rascals' "I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore" for Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), the Wild Ones' "Wild Thing" for Reckless Kelly (1993), and Roxy Music's "Love Is the Drug" for Super Mario Brothers (1993).
